Alice POV
It was the next day and I am going to start ease dropping on the basketball team. But before anything, today I had made it so this time I should create a plan so stuff would actually go my way instead of what happened yesterday. But how do I do that. Actually, when was the last time I planned something and actually kept to it.
I know, I know I am like the last person you want to rely on, but Abigail is depending on me to find a bunch of secrets and information, so we could use them as punishments. And I oversaw the jocks of the school, so this was an important part. Not like the popular girls or the misfits aren't important, but I am not going to be that missing piece in a puzzle, that makes everyone pissed and frustrated.
So, I was going to make a plan to at least make sure that I wouldn't completely fail. I was thinking long and hard and I think I figured out away in how I could get the voice recordings.
I had thought it through and I ended up thinking, that I just tape my phone on the top of the gym benches in the boy's locker room, and I had a perfect time in which I can use it. I noticed a lot of people don't go inside the gym when the school opens at 7 in the morning. Heck people don't even try to show up until 8:30 or 9, when classes actually start. So that should be a perfect time.
But the main problem with this is that I am nowhere near a morning person at all. So, wish me luck.

Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring, Bang.
I through my alarm across the room and I slowly opened my eyes that felt like weights were trying to push them back down. But I knew I really needed to wake up early and get ready to be at school once they open the doors.
I looked at my phone and saw that it was 6:30, I moaned in exhaustion in how early it was. I looked outside and was even more devastated, I had woken up before the sun even did. And that was a problem for me.
I rolled myself off the bed and hit the floor head facing down, it hurt but it helped me get awake. I got up on my two feet and trailed my way to the bathroom rubbing my nose in which I think is bleeding now, but that was the least of my worries.
I glanced at the mirror and noticed how much of a mess I was, dark under bags and my hair looked like I hadn't washed it in years. I stripped my clothes off and took a shower and fixed myself off. I guess staying up watching anime wasn't the best choice when I had to wake up this early.
I throw on some clothes I found and got to the front of the house and made a simple breakfast. Since I was still in the anime mood I just made a toast and shoved it into my mouth and ran out the house my book bag half way on.
I was expecting to run into a cute boy when I turned the corner but that never happened. I got to school without bumping into someone or anything and finished the toast I had in my mouth. Bummer.
But I got to school at the time I actually wanted, and I was super happy and proud with myself. Giving myself a little pat on the back for myself. I looked around and basically saw zero people, it felt like I was coming to school during a zombie apocalypse, and I don't like that feeling. I slowly walked up to the stair case and looked at the open doors of the school.
I entered the building and quickly, before someone saw me ran to the gym where the boy's locker room was. but then again who was going to see me, there was literally no one here. I looked both ways and made sure no teacher was near and I sneaked into the room.
Upon entering I was disgusted so much, I felt like gagging. The smell that lingered in here was the worst. I saw socks and boxers everywhere on the benches on the lockers and even on the floor. In a way it looked like a generic high school boys' bedroom, just without the bed room furniture. If that made any sense.
I looked under the bench and I saw so much gum stuck under it and I really didn't want to put my one and only phone under that. So, I quickly re planned where I was going to put it, until I heard the door open.
I quickly ran into the bathroom and jumped into one of the stalls and put my feet up on the toilet, so they wouldn't know I was here.
I heard multiple voices and feet coming in and I wondered why they came here so early in the morning.
"Hurry guys, you know we had a morning meeting. So, change into your uniforms before the coach gets mad." I heard Brian say. Hearing his voice just reminded me of what happened the other day, and I turned red. I brought my hands to my cheeks wondering why I was responding this way. What is going on with me.
But besides that, I came back to reality and started to curse at myself for picking the one day they had a morning meeting. See this is the reason on why I hate planning cause no matter what I do, it will always back fire.
"Ok hold on guys I need to use one of the stalls really quick so don't wait and go ahead." one of the basketball people said and walked towards where I was. My heart was thumping louder and louder with each echoed footstep. What if he finds me? What is going to happen with me, with the mission.
So, I stayed perfectly still and made sure that my door was locked and sealed.
Knock. knock
He was knocking on my stall, out of all of them why mine. I was in a tight corner. "Hey, is anyone in there, why is it locked up." he asked through the door.
I had to say something, or he will try and look through the sides of the door. And it didn't help that those cracks were so huge that it defeats the purpose of covering the person from having their privacy.
"Hello, I know someone is in here. This is the only stall that never gets locked up." He said to the stall
I had to think of something fast, so I just let my mind take over. "Hey bro, sorry I had to text my......um dead grandma. So, could you give me some privacy right now." I said in the most guy sounding voice I could make.
"Oh, sorry man. I will just use another one then." He said and started to walk away from me.
I thought about how stupid he was, and who he even thought was actually in this stall, all his team was in the gym right now and he was the only one left behind. Sometimes I wonder why lots of jocks get passed grades just by doing sports. Then to those nerds who can't do sports they need to score high in gym to pass, and most of them end up failing and need to take extra gym classes. Oh well, that is just how this school is and I hate that. Like come on look at these noodle arms and legs.
I waited until he got out the locker room until I got out the stall and quickly looked for a place to put my phone that would be safe. And then I figured it out.
I hurriedly walked passed all the clothes and stuff and finally got to the right place that would be perfect. I looked at the trash bin that was places at the center wall of the room and I turned it around and duck taped it to the back of the can and turned on my recorder and quickly took the emergency exit of the locker room.
So, all I need to do now, was to wait until the end of the day and retreat my phone and check.
