You were my best friend and then you lied. I'll never forget those summer days of laughter in the sun or playing truth or dare with boys for the first time.
But you changed that day when you
told me that you'd be there forever
and now you're trapped in the chapter
of my childhood that I have closed.I miss you when I look at my old photo albums, I think about how things would have be different now, but then I remember that we outgrew each other.
Forever my childhood sweetheart, forever my lost friend.
