When one writes, they create a world at their fingertips. It's an art. Yes, writing is an art. Just like music, speech,  artistry, and many other forms that you may not even think is an art.

Writing is an incredible thing. You can create the world at your fingers. I know I said this already, but look, you might be writing a story that's on Earth and we all know there's other countries, but if you don't mention any other countries then they simply don't exist. That's what I mean.

You watch your characters grow. The best thing is, when you are finished with the story, they don't die. They live on in your mind, because you know them better than anyone else.

It brings the thrill of getting to know who your character is going to be. You are the puppet master in this story. Make his life interesting.

Well now you must be wanting to write a story, but you know nothing about it. Slow down! I will be getting there soon. First, you must know/do these things:

-Don't take your first story too serious. Many people that write their first story automatically think it's going to be the new prodigy story, but once they have it posted they can barely get ten reads. This can be quite repelling to authors. However, if you do things correctly, your first story can be great, and that's just the start.

-Start planning an original plot line, but do NOT take notes 24/7. This will drain the life out of you. You aren't an idiot; you will remember the important things about the story. Take notes if you are sitting around doing nothing, but if you are at a party, the worst thing you could be doing is sitting on a couch with a scratchpad.

-Be inspired by it. If you are wanting to write for fame on Wattpad, you won't make it because your writing will be missing something. Write because it's your hobby and you love it. Don't force yourself to do something you dread. We aren't supernatural, hence, we won't like doing everything.

-Attempt to know your strengths and weaknesses early on. Most writers don't know their weaknesses in writing until they start writing and find they have a hundred mistakes, be it grammar, spelling, or even a part of the story that doesn't click in right. Knowing these things early on can help you prepare yourself. Take lessons online if you struggle in something.

-Follow all the previous sections of the guide. The profiling, adding followers, and everything else. The more followers you have, the faster your story will be found. After 1 year, I have 100 votes (finally!), but I follow someone who's been on Wattpad for 1 month and has 800 votes who follows 800-900 people. I'm not pointing fingers, but you know who you are. That's an incredible feat! That's a perfect example of what following does. The sooner you start, the better.

I therefore give you, Watty World, the introduction to writing. This was mainly to brace writers and encourage anyone who hasn't planned to write into doing it. I remember I was scared to death to write, but now I can write nearly anything I want to!

It's like doing a speech. You get used to being on a stage so much you don't even worry about it anymore. Doing a solo on a piano is just the same way. At first they were probably afraid to play in case of a wrong note, but accidents happen, and they kept pressing on until that fear was washed away.

In this section, I now give all my readers a medal, and those who solely read on Wattpad, I must say goodbye. It was a pleasure doing this with you. You have a stunning profile, loyal friends, and an entire library of stories you love. To me, it looks like you can take on the world of Wattpad. Go explore! It's a big world out there.
