We walked round to the back of the club, where the car park was packed and eerily silent.

"So where are you taking me?"I asked him curiously.

"The beach"

I decided I wouldn't question his decision. I liked surprises.

"So what's at the beach? It's midnight"

He threw his hands into the air dramatically, the loss of his hand from mine was an unpleasant feeling."Exactly, that's the best time to go" he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Your probably the only person in the world who thinks that!" I exclaimed laughing.

"We'll once you've been, we'll be the only two people in the world who think it" he whispered to me slinging his arm across my shoulders. I could feel his hand playing with my long brown wavy hair, and my skin tingled when his fingers brushed against the sensitive skin on the back of my neck.

We finally stopped walking, my heart beat faster in excitement and anticipation when I saw we wouldn't be getting to the beach in a car.

"You ready?" He asked me and gestured to a black motorbike. I smiled and nodded.

"Hell yes"

He stared at me incredulously.

"You keep surprising me babe"

I looked at him questioningly "what are you talking about?"

"We'll it's just that, most girls would probably protest about getting on a bike and worry about their hair"

I scoffed while crossing my arms."we'll there's something you should know about me. I'm not most girls and I hate stereotypes"

"Good" he said, "I have the feeling we're going to get along just fine"

Having the wind blowing through my hair, and my arms wrapped tightly around Lincoln as we sped through the night, was a feeling almost amazing as what I'd felt dancing with him at the club.

I never wanted the ride to end.

I knew I was being kind of crazy and irresponsible for enjoying the company of a 'stranger', but it felt like I'd known him forever and I'd never felt safer with anyone else.

Lincoln revved his motor and went faster. "Whoooooo" he shouted, disrupting the quiet night atmosphere.

I laughed and joined in with him "whoooooooo"

I suddenly felt brave and for a few seconds I unwrapped my hands from his muscular torso and spread my arms like wings.
