Chapter 8

** Mature Beginning Beware**

I kissed the part of his chest just above his heart, his skin was cold but smooth. I peppered his chest with small kisses until I stood on my tip toes and kissed my way up his jaw, a deep rumble came from his chest and his arms steadied me. I pressed my lips against his own before taking a daring move and I bite his lower lip softly, he opens his mouth giving me access and my tongue explores his mouth. Suddenly my feet are no longer touching the ground, I wrap my legs around his waist my arms around his neck.

I feel his hands grasp my butt giving it a soft squeeze, he moves and throws me onto the bed. I watch him with anticipation as he smirks at me I sit up as he gets into the bed, I crawl over to him and push his chest and he falls onto the pillow. I look down at him with a seductive look as I straddle his waist. "P-princess what are you doing?" he asks stuttering with a loud moan as I grind slowly on him. I smirk my plan working, I put my finger against his mouth silencing him. "Pleasing my King" I purr as he takes my finger between his teeth. 

"Close your eyes" I whisper leaning close to his face and his eyes shut immediately, I smirk seeing the cuffs still on the bedside table. I lean over to the bedside table and grab the cuffs putting one on his wrist, he opens his eyes and he starts to protest but I kiss him roughly pulling away with a sweet smile "trust me" and I put my hand on his chest and he shivers before closing his eyes again. Big mistake Snake King.

I closed the other cuff around the bedpost, I quickly take the belt of my night robe and put it in his mouth and I tie it behind his head. Feeling satisfied that he won't escape or call the guards any time soon I get off his lap and get off the bed, he opens his eyes to see me standing at the side of the bed. His eyes flash with anger as he pulls at the cuff he tries to shout but the makeshift gag in his mouth muffles him, I flash him an innocent smile as I walk into the bathroom.

The sun was steadily rising and today I was going to talk to my people and hopefully free those wrongly imprisoned men. I quickly wash my body and dry myself as I look for a suitable dress to wear, I choose a pastel purple dress that goes down to my ankles I pair it with a gold pair of flats and my royal gold sash. I quickly braid my hair and put on my smaller crown and walk out of the bathroom to see an angry looking man cuffed to the bed, I blow him a kiss and walk out our bedroom door.

I quickly close it behind me hoping the guards hadn't caught a glimpse of their fuming King cuffed to the bed. "The King is not feeling well this morning, I shall be going into town alone I do not want anyone to disturb his rest until he emerges from his chambers" I command and they nod before going back to standing straight. I smile triumphantly before making my way towards the palace doors, they open it for me and I make my way towards the palace gates. I walk into the main town square and smile at my people, they bow at the sight of me "please stand there is no need for those formalities, I am here as a friend" 

A few women look sceptical but do as I say, I go towards the woman I remember from the earlier town meeting yesterday. "I'm sorry about your husbands, I shall do everything in my power to free them without penalty to your families" I could only offer them a kind smile at this time to which they in return give me thanks with soft hugs and promises of help with whatever I may need in my town visit today.

I thought for a moment not quite sure what I had in plan for my unannounced visit today before a thought comes to mind "would you mind leading me towards the orphan home that my parents first started when I was born" I ask wanting to see the place I only ever heard about but I wanted to see it with my own two eyes, it holds a big place in my heart as it was named after me and is a beautiful reminder of my parents kindness and generosity as rulers of the kingdom. "Certainly your majesty, it is this way" one of the women begins walking out of the Townsquare.

We stop in front of a homely looking place with flowers on every windowsill and a beautiful front garden, "it's beautiful" I whisper and I walk up the small set of stairs, I softly knock on the door fully aware of the group of women behind watching me with beady eyes. An elderly looking lady opens the door, she looks at me with wide eyes "Your majesty I wasn't expecting you so soon, you said you were coming to visit the children a week from now" her words make me freeze.

She thinks that I am my mother so I continue to play this role, not bearing to break her heart with the news of my mother's death. "I was in town and I thought I'd come in for a visit, I hope that I haven't imposed on anything" I smile as she nods her head in understanding before she steps out of the way, "well please don't stand out in this cold weather please do come in" she ushers me in closing the door with a soft click. "The children are just eating in the dining hall," she says as I follow her through a doorway.

I walk behind her before I see a small boy sitting in solitude cradling his knees, the boy looks up with teary eyes and runs towards me clinging onto my legs as if his life depended on it. "Mommy you came back a week early" I always knew that I was a spitting image of my mother but she had another child.
