He fell backwards, freeing the boy with glasses. He fell to the ground, holding his throat.

Everyone gasped, and it got suddenly eerily quiet.

Ace held his mouth, because that's right where I decked him. He looked down at his hand, where fresh blood stained it. His lip dripped of the same.

He looked back up at me, his eyes matching his bloody busted lip.

"Who the fuck do you think you are bitch?!" he yells. He narrows his eyes on me in anger and steps closer, hovering his tall body over me. "Are you asking for a death wish?!"

I don't back down. I glare right back up at him and stand my ground.

"I don't care who you are or who your parents are, you have no reason to be beating on such an innocent person!"

He scoffs and motions his arm to him. "Innocent person?! Are you fucking kidding me little girl?! Do you even know what the hell you're talking about?!" He steps forward even more and raises his hand up, like he's about to hit me.

"Ace, man, don't." Someone else grabs Aces wrist before he could hit me with it. We both turn to see who it is. A boy around the same height looks at Ace with a warning glare. He was just as hot as Ace was. Except he seemed a bit more softer. He had light short blonde hair, with small little curls in it. His brown eyes were almost a red color, but it didn't seem like out of anger.

He had a smaller body than Ace, but still seemed just as strong.

Ace yanks his wrist out of his hand and faced him. "Oh so you wanna go now Fletcher?!"

He puts his hands up and shakes his head. "Come on dude, I'm just looking out for you. You know that."

"Yeah well I don't need it," He turns back to me. "Listen here, bitch," He points at my chest, leaning down to be eye level. "I don't know if you know this or not, but I'm kinda King here. Which means dont... fucking mess with me," He stands back up straight and crosses his arms.  "You're obviously new here, so you get a pass. But don't you dare try anything like you just did... or you'll regret every bit of it."

"I'm not scared of you." I spat. He huffed and dropped his arms. "You should be, rodent, you should be."

Did he just call me... A rodent?

THAT IS SO FUNNY OH MY GOD HE IS A LITERAL CHILD.

He turned and walked away, looking all big and bad. I started laughing at what he called me, until the boy who stopped him threw daggers at me with his wide eyes, shaking his head. I slowly stopped.

About half the crowd started following Ace, each one looking meaner than the other, throwing me hateful stares. Once the all started walking down the halleay... I noticed they all wore matching leather jackets... with the same huge logo embroided on the back reading "Devils" With red horns sticking from the sides and a long red tail wrapped around some of the letters.

Hm.... I wonder what that was all about. Maybe a boy band?

Hehe.... rodent.

"You re-really sh-shouldnt have d-d-done that...." I looked down at the beaten boy below me. He sat there, holding his stomach and blood oozing down his face. He looked bad.

"I couldn't just let him beat on you like that for no reason! I don't care who the fuck he thinks he is." I state, bending down to his level. I look around at his injuries as he just looks up at me, seeming confused.

"Tiny's right," A voice adds. I look around to see that same boy that stopped Ace a minute ago. He crossed his arms and looked down at us. "Ace may have gone easy on you just now, but he won't for long. I would stay far, far away, new girl."
