Everyone evacuated the building immediately. The teachers were all onstage, some calling the police, others freaking out and trying to see what had happened to Casey. The ones on the floor were trying to get everyone to get out of the building. Then cops arrived and everyone got out.

I was outside with Nick, Ace, Sniper and the Devils. Mainly waiting on my dad with Nick. My dad was freaking out and was trying to get me back home as soon as possible. Nick was making sure I got into the car with my dad before he left. Ace and the others, I wasn't sure. They were having their own conversations, probably on what had happened to Casey. The Devils started leaving in groups. I guess Ace had told them to stick together and to get home as soon as possible. The cops hadn't yet came outside, and right now the teachers were the ones controlling the people outside.

I was in shock more than anything. Seeing Casey's once lively body so... dead... hit me. I had only spoken to her once or twice, some here and there at tryouts. Today was the last day and we all knew she was captain but now... I had no idea what would happen.

Why would somebody... kill her? She was so nice! Sure, she was a bit off buy she was nice to everyone even if not everyone was nice to her.

Why would anyone kill anyone for that matter... And why in front of the entire school? Why a highschool student? Why anyone actually?

I rub my face, frustrated. This was scaring me and frustrating me at the same time. There was a fucking killer running around, maybe even amongst us. God I hope the cops finds this guy soon. Otherwise I was going to be scared as hell.

I mean I am already but I would be even more... because then he might strike again.

Oh my gosh... is he going to? The message did say that... The feeding... has begun. So what does that mean? Oh my gosh there are so many questions.

"Hey," Nick whispers, wrapping an arm around my shoulders and pulling me into his side. "It'll be okay. My dad will handle this, I promise."

Nicks dad was the sheriff. I think his name was Sheriff Shelton? I assume so since that was Nick's last name. It only seemed right. I nodded and leaned my head on Nicks shoulder for comfort, honestly just wanting my dad here so I could cry in his shoulders. I rarely cry honestly but this just... had my nerves shot. I was shaking and shivering like it was twelve degrees outside, when in reality it was probably around sixty.

"I just want to go home." I whisper.

"Madolyn!" I recognize the voice to be my dad's and I jump up, out of Nicks arms. I spin around looking for him, and when I spot him, I run straight into his grasp. "Dad!" I yell, jumping onto him and throwing my arms around his neck. I dig my face into my arm and let the tears flow.

"Are you alright darling? You're not hurt are you?" I shook my head. "No... No I'm fine I just... I'm glad you're here...."

"Come on, let's get you home." He whispers, rubbing my back. I nod my head and pull away, rubbing my wet eyes. I turn around to wave a quick goodbye to Nick. "Thanks." I tell him as I wave my hand in the air. He smiles at me and waves back. "Be safe."

I see Ace out of the corner of my eye. He looks at me, that same blank emotionless expression on his face. I could only stare back at this point. I could never figure Ace out. He always gave me mixed emotions and confusing signs that I had no idea what it meant. And right now I wasn't looking forward to finding out. I also didn't have the energy for it.

"Ace? Is that you?"

Ace turned to my dad, and his eyes widened. Luckily he had gotten the rest of the Devils away by then. But his Devils jacket was still on his back. He turned straight towards my dad, so he couldn't see the back of his leather jacket.
