Another Salvatore(Book 1) *Editing*

Witches and digging up the past.

Flash Back 1864, Mystic falls. 

I was walking around the grounds with Anna and her mother Pearl, when Katherine came down and joined us. 

"Its good to see you Pearl." Katherine greets her. 

"maybe we should take this some where else." Pearl said. 

"tell Mr Salvatore that I've steeped away." Katherine asks Emily who is standing behind her. 

"which one"  Emily asks.

"both" Katherine answers. 

"Laura" my father calls. 

I walk away from them and in to my fathers study. 

End of flash back

Present Day. Mystic falls High school Alaric class room. 

Stefan and i were walking though the school halls, keeping quite so we didn't get caught. Stefan told me that we where going to ask Alaric for the journal as it would tell us where the spell book was. we slip in to the shadows behind the classroom. 

"hello" Alaric calls. 

"Someone there" 

We walk around the corner and find Alaric with a gun in his hand and a stake. Alaric puts the stake and the gun and fires it, but i catch it with out effort and Stefan looks at Alaric. 

"you shouldn't of done that, why don't you take a seat and we can talk about this nicely" Stefan says as he pushes Alaric in to one of the chairs and takes the gun away from him. 

"what is this, compressed air. did you make this yourself. who are you?, we wont hurt you as long as you promise not to do that again" Stefan says. 

"now who are you?" i ask him. 

"I'm a history teacher" he answers. 

"are we going to have to do this the hard way" 

"I'm also a historian. i was studying Virginia and found some interesting things about your town" 

"Tell me the Truth, we wont do anything or tell anyone" 

"my wife studied the super natural in this area, it was here work that lead me here."

"wheres your wife?" 

"shes dead a vampire killed her" 

"do you know where the Gilbert Journal is?"

"its on my desk" 

"no its not" Alaric looks around and sees that the journal is not on his desk.

"well it was" he looks at the two of us with a confused face.

"so when did you learn about us" I asked him.

"i learned just recently. what about your brother?"

"you met Damon" i asked. 

"who do you think killed my wife" 

"are you sure it was Damon" 

"i saw it"

"if your hear for revenge then its going to end very badly for you" Stefan told him. 

"i want to know what happened to my wife" 

"i just thought you said that Damon..." 

"Yeah, i saw him draining the life out of her, he must of heard me coming because he just left and the body was never found"
