Another Salvatore(Book 1) *Editing*

The truth

"What are you, Laura?" Jeremy asked. He knew the truth.

"Come inside and i will explain everything to you"

"What are you" Jeremy said again.

"I'm a vampire" i said. There was a slight pause as Jeremy took it all in and them he stared to walk away but i followed and stood in front of him blocking the path.

"how did you do that" Jeremy asked sounding shocked.

"Jeremy i wont hurt you, just come inside and i will tell you everything you want to know."
Jeremy just shook his head
"If you mean what you just said then you will leave me alone. I don't think I am ready for all of this yet"
I looked to Jeremy but let him go. I then went in side, sat down and started to cry.

It had been a few days since Jeremy and I had last spoken and he found out what I was. Stefan had told me that it took Elena a while to work out what she wanted to do about what she knew.

I had been going to school like normal and Jeremy had been avoiding me, but i understood that he needed space. 

It was not until the following week that Jeremy spoke to me 

"hey Laura, i was wondering if we could talk" Jeremy said as we left maths. 

"so your finally talking to me again, i understand that it was a lot for you to take in, but i understand if you don't want me" I told him. 

"I've been thinking and spoke to Elena about what she thinks and I've changed my mind, i want to be with you, i don't care what you are" he said as he took my arm and placed a bracelet with a love heart on it. i smiled sweetly. 

"thanks Jeremy, you know I've been so lonely with out you" I told him. 

"i was wondering if you wanted to come to the grill after school, i would love to find out more about you. Jeremy asked. 

"i would love to, i will see you around 5 then in the grill" i told him before i went of to English. 

At the grill. 

After school i asked Stefan to drop me of at the grill so i could see Jeremy. When i got there i went to the bar and ordered my self a coke. 

"hey Laura" i turned around to find Jeremy standing there. 

"shall we go and find a table, somewhere a bit quieter" i told him. We found a table for two in the corner. 

"you wanted to ask me some questions, i have an hour till I'm due back home." i told him. 

"I've heard a lot of crazy things about Vampires but i don't know what to believe so that's why i wanted to ask you, if you don't mind me asking" Jeremy said. 

"most of what is in the books is rubbish any way, but you can ask me what you like" I said. 

 Jeremy "how do you walk in the sun, i always thought that sunlight burned Vampires" 

Laura: "well i have a bracelet, it contains a lapis- lazuli, that protects me form the sunlight" I rolled up my sleeve to show him. 

Jeremy: "can you drink holy water" 

Laura "that's a myth, we can drink it" 

Jeremy: "are there any other vampires apart form Stefan, Damon and you in Mystic falls anymore".

Laura: "no, not anymore, however there was a time when this town was very aware of vampires, that's why its so important that  you don't tell anyone." 

Jeremy: " i will keep your secret" 

Jeremy looked around the grill and then back to me. 

"come with me i want to show you something" I said to Jeremy.

Jeremy's point of view 

We paid for out drinks and then got in to my car. we drove for a little while till we stooped in the middle of no where. 

"you said you wanted to show me something but were in the middle of nowhere." i asked Laura 

"this..Didn't used to be the middle of nowhere this was were Stefan, Damon and I grew up" Laura told as i looked around 

"it looks very old, wait how long have you been a vampire" i asked 

"we that's because it is, this was our family home before the boarding house was built, Stefan, Damon and i were born here, the Salvatore siblings, best of friends. " 

Flash back to 1864 *Laura's point of view* 

I was siting on the step watching Stefan and Damon playing with a foot ball. 

Stefan: "were did you learn this game" 

Damon: "camp, outside of Atlanta. 

Just then Katherine come out 

"mind if i join you" she said 

"i wouldn't my brothers like to play rough" I told her

"well see about that" Katherine told me as took the ball of Damon and stared to run with it. 

Damon: why are you just standing there, that is a girl who wants to be chased, if you don't do it then i will" 

i watched Stefan and Damon run off after Katherine 

end of flash back

"so this Katherine was the girl that your brothers were in love with 145 years ago then. what did you think of her" Jeremy asked me. 

"i never really liked her but she was able to play with my mind and made me think that we were friends, even tho i hated her" I said to Jeremy, 

"that mind control thing, would you ever do that to me" he asked. 

"no, never, that charm bracelet on your wrist has Vivian wrapped around it, its toxic to vampires and also prevents us from controlling your mind, i want you to never take that of" I said to Jeremy as we got back in to the car. 

When we got back to Jeremy's house. I said goodbye to him and gave him a kiss. I then went back home to find Stefan standing at the door waiting for me. 

"where have you been" he asked 

"oh Jeremy and i went to the grill for a catch up, he knows what we are now" i told Stefan. 

"just be careful the council are on to us more know they know about the vampires, thanks to a guy named Logan Fell." 

"OK then, i will be upstairs if you want me" 

I went up stares and checked my phone only to find that Stefan's birthday was tomorrow and i had nothing to give him. 

"damm" I thought to myself. I then went over to my laptop and found an ecard to send instead.
