After hearing about how accepting America is, I began imagining this new country, longing to live in a place where I could openly be myself. I feel guilty for having these thoughts since I love my home dearly, but the freedom to exist without punishment sounds better than anything I could ever imagine. Amir reminded me that we could make living in Saudi Arabia work as long as we had each other, but I couldn't help but wonder what life would be like if I lived elsewhere.
