The cerulean sky was bright and dotted with fluffy white clouds, a slight breeze picked up ruffling the green trees with a silent song.

Sakura looked up to the sky, her jaded eyes immersing herself in her thoughts before she sighed.

"Father... mother won't even look at me in the streets. What should I do?" She whispered

The sky gave no answer, only the soft hum of the breeze as it caressed her face.

"Naruto's doing well, he's my best friend. I've told you about him right? Are you doing well up in heaven Father?" Sakura sank down to her knees, pulling them against her chest.

Only now the scene around her consisted of headstones, the ground under her was lush and green as the fog rolled around the solemn pinkette.

"I miss you." Was her last words before she traced her thumb over his headstone.

'Kizashi Haruno. Beloved Father and Husband'

Sakura laughed to herself at her piteous moment, she had shown her weakness if not to anyone but herself.
Yet unaware someone was watching her, unbeknownst the doe brown eyes observing her with his pale hand curled around a bento box.

Haku tilted his head, long black hair cascading down his chest.
He had masked his chakra to make it seem as if he blended in with the surrounding trees, he was a master at stealth.

As he watched her, his chest tightened and he held the bento box tighter to him.

Sakura stood up after a while before making her way to the entrance of the cemetery, her long hair brushing her ankles as she walked.
The clinking and clanking of chains echoed around the empty area.

Haku tilted his head before vanishing, no trace of him being there existed.

Sakura was walking down the cobbled streets before she felt a large warm hand wrap themselves around her arm.
Turning her head she saw Naruto staring intensely at her.

"Hello Naru.. what's up?" She asked softly.

"Tell me... about the chains." Naruto whispered softly, his voice strangled.

Sakura glanced around the street at all the hateful glares and fear laced in peoples eyes.

"Let's go somewhere private for this." Sakura murmured.

Naruto and Sakura headed off to a reclusive cafe where they ordered a table in the far corner, nobody could see them as the bamboo walls encased them in that small space.

"Alright now what do you want to know?"

"Well, first of all, why does your chakra seem to double at times? It feels different from your own." Naruto steadily said.

"Ah... well, to put it simply, I have someone living in my head." She admitted softly.

"Someone living in your head?" Naruto trailed off, his thoughts whirling. So she was like him? Did she contain a chakra beast in her like him?

"Yes, his name is Kiyoshi and well, I'm not quite sure where he came from. But back at the Land of the waves when I almost died, I met him." She fed him her half lie half explanation.

"I see... what does he look like?" He tilted his head making her laugh softly.

"I'll be honest, I don't really know. He was covered in wires and chains" her mind floated back as a voice haughtily barked out.

Well Sakura, giving out my secrets eh? Kiyoshi's cold voice filled her mind before she forced him to stay quiet.

Naruto stared deep into her eyes as he sipped on the frothy cappuccino in his hand, secretly he loved the warm frothy drink. Yet nobody else knew about it except Sakura.

"I see. Well. If he is treating your body right I'll have to stop figuring out why you look so distant eh?" Naruto smiled cheekily.

"Oh? I'm sorry if I made you feel lonely." Sakura murmured as she clasped his hand in her own.

"Well the most exciting thing happening would be the Chunnin exams coming up." Naruto rolled his eyes slightly.

"Oh yeah, they'll be taking place in Konoha this year right?" Sakura hummed as she drank her black tea.

"Yeah I head a bunch of powerful teams will be participating in it. I'm hoping our team will be promoted." Naruto hummed as he placed his cheek on his knuckles.

"Well, we should start training perhaps?" Sakura hummed before standing up and leaving a decent amount of ryō behind.

As the colorful duo walked down the street they heard a childish cry of fear. Naruto tilted his head as he shifted closer to the pink haired woman, his fingers subconsciously aiming for his weapons pouch.

They rounded the corner, only to see Konohamaru-sama being held by a large teenager, with a cat like jumpsuit and purple markings.
Sakura's hand slowly clenched before she spoke out coolly.

"What do you think you're doing to the child Suna-nin san?" Her eyes were cold as she caught the attention of the cat man and a pretty blonde with four pigtails.

"What's it to you brat?" He snarled as he held the kid higher, konohamaru was terrified as he looked back to Sakura.

"I suggest you let the grandson of the Hokage go." Naruto gave a sickly sweet smile, instilling a silent promise of death.

The sand duo paled as they scrambled away from the kid, letting him fall.
Sakura was satisfied as she walked up to the trembling academy student, holding him close to her.
Her eyes shifted upwards to a presence in the tree, green clashing with a deep turquoise.
Her lips curled into a small smirk before she picked up the child and walked away, Naruto following close behind.

The red haired man in the tree narrowed his eyes, that insolent pink haired girl noticed him? His stealth was second to none and she had seen him?
His mind raged as he wanted to suddenly taste her blood on his lips, watch her thrash and moan as he ripped her apart.

"I will kill you..." he muttered to himself before vanishing from the suna disgrace of shinobi.
