Gene X Reader 2 A Not so Bad Guy

i decide to grab booster seats for the car for the kids. we now have a 1/2 hour drive to gene's moms'. he was very excited and called sasha, zenix, dante and our other friends to go there to. since many didn't live to far from everyone else they all agreed. we head out and I gave Alexander and Jessica a slinky each for the ride. let's just say it was adorable listening to the ooh about their new toy.

We arrive soon after and get the children out. once we knock dante answers smiling brightly. "hey y/n, gene come inside! why did you all everyone over?" he questions letting us in. juliet holds my leg as alexander stares in awe at the loving family and friends around him.

"We need to talk about something serious." gene says unable to hide his very evident smile.

"does this have anything to do with the two tikes behind you?" gene's mom Maria says.

"Yes. we decided to adopt these two. Maria....you're a grandmother." i say trying to watch her expression for anything bad. she squeals happily and i giggle.

"I'M AN UNCLE! Amazing gene I knew you guys will be great parents." dante says clearly energized about having more members in the family.

"i-i'm alexander and this is my sister juliet." alexander says sweetly watching everyone. sasha smile crouching next to him.

"sasha, pleasure to meet you little dude." she says holding out a fist for him to bump. he giggles and touches it with the palm of his hand as though giving a high five instead of a fist bump. "you don't have many friends do you." she says observing his reaction.

"i have my sister." he says smiling brightly. jessica nods in agreement sasha smiles.

"here let me show you." she says grabbing alexander's fist gently and forming it in a fist. he watches intently as sasha bumps his fist with her own. "there" she says "a fist bump."

juliet giggles as her brothers smile grows brightly.
