it was near sunset and gene and i were along the beach walking barefoot silently. nearly no one was here and i found it very peaceful. gene kisses my cheek before speaking.

"are you okay?" he questions. i give him a slight bewildered look before he continues, "you've been acting strange since you met up with the werewolf. are you okay?"

"y-yeah he just....."i think silently for the correct term i'm looking for. "scary." i settle on the word leaving before i can think of a more descriptive word of how after we broke up i had night mare after night mare but kept it inside. he was scary on the next level. after a week or so i was calm enough to not think about if he found out where i live.

"i noticed you were tense. i'm sorry love i didn't realize, i would have gladly found us another cart." i smile at him.

"that wouldn't have been needed gene"  mumbles hugging him as the sound of ocean waves crash alongside the sandy shore.  gene rubs my back gently kissing my cheek.

Timeskip cause i'm lazy~To the last day of the honeymoon

it was the last day of gene and i's honeymoon and as much as I loved it I was relieved to be able to go back and see my two babies and furbaby. gene and I decided to go out for a fancy dinner before leaving and we head to this top restraint on the park that we were saving. we have been able to not meet up with Blaze again which was a relief on my end.

we walk in and say we had a reservation for table of two under our last name Alejandro (a/n I forgot his last name and I don't know if I already put it so if anyone knows it I will hopefully correct it) the lady checked and smiled grabbing menus walking to a corner couple booth that we slide into. I was very happy and couldn't bring the smile on my face to falter.

"this week has been wonderful" gene sighs out beginning to look at drinks. I smile nodding while also starting my browse one the drinks.

after ordering our food and drinks we talk and talk and talk. mostly about the past but also about the kids and the future we will have. gene continues cracking corny pick up jokes to make me laugh and smile until the food gets here with our drinks. while eating we stay relatively silent. occasionally I would catch him not eating and instead staring at me. during the spots in the meal I would merely giggle and he would snap out of it before complimenting me.

"you know you're eyes are so pretty" gene says for probably the hundrethed time this dinner.

gene has always been comforted by my eyes and how they perfectly depicted the mood I was in, or so he says. I smile before responding "so are yours, like the ocean at night." I say softly gazing into his dark teal orbs.

"you're hair looks soft as always y/n" he retorts a slight smile tugging on his lips.

I smirk slightly knowing we are about to have a compliment war. "your hair is always so fun to play with gene," I say back "so curly and fluffy." I finish.

"your lips are so beautiful I think the win as the best curve on your body though the rest are still as wonderful" he hums. I hide a blush before quickly coming back with another compliment.

"you always smell so nice and protective" I say. gene chuckles slightly.

"every inch of your body is perfect to me along with every bone in your body and you're beautiful mind that I will help and protect." he finishes before I can respond with how my mind is a total mess without him.

I think for what I can say that could possibly top that but nothing sweet enough comes to mind. gene chuckles as the lady comes back noticing our empty plates giving us the bill. "I win." he says softly before looking at the price. he simply puts his signature on the receipt before putting the credit card in.

I smile at him giggling like a young girl on the playground. "you really do know how to charm a lady gene" I say humbly. gene smiles brightly at me before kissing me gently on the lips. I kiss back before pulling away when gene gets his credit card back. we get up heading back to our hotel room.
