He eyeballed me, looking me up and down.
"Yeah, I do. Why?" His pink lips curled into a smile. If you could call it a smile.
"I want to see if he wants to hang with me." I said, my jaw ticking.
The bartender leaned across the table, his warm breath swirling around me like a cloud. He smiled, before setting his rag and glass down to the side. "You got me." His voice was dripping with lust.
I pulled back, pulling my lips back in disgust. "I want him, not you." I hissed.
I got up and stepped backwards. My back hit a hard surface. A very hard, toned surface. Large hands grasped my waist tightly, before they dipped their head down towards my ear.
"I don't know who you want, but at this moment, I wouldn't mind wanting you." The voice said. I turned, realizing that all-too famalier voice.
I turned around to face the mystery person and smirked.
"I'd regonize that voice anywhere."
He chuckled, before letting go of my waist. "How? You don't even know me. Right?" His eyebrows scrunched together as he looked at me.
"No not really. But your the one who fought that boy, Rowen, who kissed your girlfriend, Gwen?" I asked.
His eyes turned a frightnening color of oynx, and a dark look shadowed on his face.
"Yeah, I remember. But what brings you back here? Coming here to cuss me out for putting my hands on pretty boy?"
I chuckled. If only he knew.
"No. Quite the opposite actually." I said, my voicing toning down a bit and sounding quite scary. "I can't handle him anymore honestly. He's the worst asshole I've ever met."
Sawyer was looking at me, smiling the whole time as I ranted about how much I hated him. It felt good to vent about my frustrations to someone. I never expected it to be a cute, random guy, but who cares?
As I finished rambling, Sawyer gave me a grin. "Sounds like that makes two of us who would want him dead huh?"
Did he know Rowen? "You know him?" I asked. I wondered if they had a rocky past or something.
"Kinda. He's known for being a prick around here though."
Why am I not surprised?
Sawyer placed his hands back on my waist again, before biting his lip.
"Enough about him. I rather talk about this gorgeous girl in front of me." I blushed. I wasn't used to being complimented like this. And defiently not from a guy like him. I never recieved that type of attention, not even from Rowen, but I found I liked it. Alot.
"Okay. Should we get a drink first though? To get us loosened up?" I bit my lip, as I toned my voice down seductively.
He grinned. "I'll pay for you. The least I could do."
I started to panic. He couldn't spike my drink or nothing right? The bartender is making it himself, and as long as I watched him, I'd be safe from getting date-raped.
I nodded, forcing a smile to hide my worry. I carefully watched the bartender to see if he tried to slip anything in my drink, but I saw nothing.
Sighing with relief, I drank the alcohol in a matter of seconds, before ahhing.
"That was good." I muttered, smirking. Sawyer smirked back, before finishing his drink and setting it down.
"Want to head back to my place?" He asked in such an innocent way that I couldn't say no. So with an unexpected giggle, I grabbed his hand and dragged him out, tripping on air as I pushed him out and I vaugely wondering if something really was put in my drink tonight, because I certaintly didn't feel like myself.
At all.
