"WHAT..." nakita ko ang gulat sa mga mata ni Dra. bago muling sumulyap kay Thorn.

"Thorn, what's the meaning of this?" she said, shocked.

"Meaning? What are you saying?" nakita ko ang pagkunot ng noo ni Thorn.

"Why are you with..." sumulyap siya sa akin at nakita ko ang takot sa mukha niya.

"Me?" I suddenly said. Nakita kong kumunot ang noo niya at tumalim ang tingin sa akin.

She can easily shift her facial expression now, huh?

"Bakit kasama mo ang babaeng 'to, huh? Thorn?" aniya at nakita ko ang paghugot niya ng hininga. "I thought you—"

"Who told you to come here, anyway?" I heard his voice.

"Gusto lang kitang kausapin but then, I saw you with—"

"Work will only stay there, okay? You don't need to visit me here if you have work-related concerns, Kat..." ani Thorn na seryoso.

Nakita ko ang pagpirmi ng mukha ni Dra. Lim, her eyes sharpened. Sumulyap siya sa akin at umismid.

"And how did you happen to be here?" she said sharply at me. "Ano, hinanap mo talaga si Thorn para makahuthot ng pera—"

"Don't want to boast but I can donate some money for you if you want," I mocked her.

Her eyes widened, nawala ang poise na iniingatan niya at nakita ko ang pagtingin niya sa akin nang mariin.

"You know what, you are nothing but a—"

"Stop it, Katrin!" Thorn's voice roared.

"Why are you defending her again? You left her already! Then why..."

"Binabalik-balikan kasi ako..." I stopped her. I saw how her mouth parted from what I've said, my brow raised, giving her a mocking smile.

"Scira! You bi—"

"Me?" natawa ako at sinuklay ang buhok ko gamit ang daliri ko. "It's Zidney Sandejas by the way..."

She blinked, nakita ko ang gulat sa mga mata niya at mabilis siyang napatingin sa tabi ko, kay Thorn na walang imik.

"T-Thorn," ani nito na mukhang maamong tuta.

I almost rolled my eyes at her, siya ata ang baliw sa aming dalawa...

"T-Thorn, don't tell me you'll come back to her—"

"I'll always come back to her, Kat," He breathed. "Don't push it."

I almost laugh at her reaction.

"But..." she bit her lip and took a glance at me while I stared at her blankly. "We're getting marrie—"

"I never said I'll marry you," he cleared that I started seeing the tears forming in the woman's eyes.

"Oh, pity..." I whispered and I knew she heard it, nakita ko ang galit sa mata niya. She was on the verge of attacking me but I stood straight, staring at her, not minding she'll hurt me.

"T-Thorn..." her voice broke, nagpapaawa. "Thorn, she's the bad one here! Hindi ko naman siya sinasaktan yet—"

I almost made a face, nang sumulyap ako kay Thorn ay kunot noo lang itong nakatingin sa kanya. His hair was still disheveled, I can still freaking remember kung paano ko siya sinabunutan kanina kaya halos mapamura ako.

"Kat, please..." ani Thorn. "Don't make a scene here."

"Pero Thorn! That woman is a conniving bitch! She'll just ruin you like before—"
