Long message for my Archers,

Hi, Archers! This will be the last chapter of the Sandejas Siblings Series, thank you for making this far! I know all of you are saddened for this will be my last story FOR NOW. I will be back soon and I hope you all enjoyed reading the Sandejas family, same as I enjoyed writing them. This is the best series I've written so far for it brings me out of my comfort zone.

Remember, smile, don't ever let anyone bring you down. Remember what Zidney said? A real Queen can make her own empire with the same stone thrown at her, right? You are a Queen, a majesty who can stand on her own. Remember that there will always be someone who will embrace everything, your flaws, your messy life, scars and all. I hope you learned a lot and keep the lessons in your heart forever.

Kabanata 30

"I'M sorry..." Mrs. Valderama's voice said softly.

I was just looking at her. She asked if she and her husband could talk to me and I agreed out of respect. I guess this will be a start.

"I know what we did was unforgivable, we judged you right away, naging mapangmata kami. Naging makasarili..." she said.

I bit my lip, tumango ako at humugot ng hininga.

"Marami kaming nagawa hindi lamang sa 'yo, pati na rin kay Thorn," malungkot niyang sabi.

Nang makita ko ang lambot ng mga mata niya ay alam kong sinsero siya sa sinasabi niya.

"You were his only strength but we pushed you away from him," aniya at nakita kong inalalayan siya ng asawa nang maluha siya. "K-kung naging matapobre kami, patawad..." she sniffed. "Patawad sa lahat, hija."

"Mrs. Valderama..." I breathed.

"S-salamat, hija..." she sniffed. "Thank you for giving our son the love and attention that we lacked from giving him."

"I did that because I love him," sagot ko.

"N-magkamali kami sa maraming bagay, hindi namin napagtuunan ng pansin si Thorn. We judged you. We don't deserve your forgiveness but please. We hope someday, one day, sana mahanap mo iyon sa puso mo," sinsero niyang sabi.

"I'm sincerely sorry for everything, Ms. Sandejas," Mr. Valderama suddenly spoke. "We only want what's best for our son, not knowing you were the best for him."

He sighed and lowered his head, nabakas ko ang resemblance nila ni Thorn sa mga itim niyang mata.

"What my wife and I did was horrible," pag-amin niya. "Hindi lang sa 'yo pero pati na rin sa mga anak naming. We forced them to be someone they don't want to be, napagkompara, nagkalamangan, at naging magkaagaw sa atensyon..."

"I-I know Thorn will understand, talk to him," sabi ko at hinawi ang buhok ko.

"He will," he smiled sadly. "He's a good man, understandable, loving but we know we can't easily remove that scar in his heart for what we have done."

Sumulyap ako kay Mrs. Valderama at nakita ko ang lungkot sa mga mata niya. She aged a bit, napansin ko ang bahagyang pagkawala ng tapang sa mukha niya.

"He will understand you," sagot ko sa kanila. "Ako naman ay wala na ang nangyari noon. I was honestly hurt but that was in the past now."

"H-hija..." Stella's voice broke. "S-Sorry, I really am sorry..." she sobbed. "N-naging masama ako sa iyo. Patawarin mo ako," she begged and as I looked at her, wala na akong kahit ano mang galit na makapa sa puso ko.
