*Jimin POV*

I clicked the switch on and the small house came alive with warm light.

Rose stood next to me, a small bag in hand as she looked around.

“Yeah so, this is the house I grew up in. My mum didn't want to sell it even after she was admitted to the hospital so it looks like we'll be living here for a while.” I looked to Rose and smiled as she started walking around the place.

“I like it...it's so...peaceful.” She turned to me and smiled slightly.

I could clearly see she was still hurting and after a one hour drive to the countryside she must be pretty tired.

“Uh, yeah so...there's um, my bedroom and then my parents bedroom...I'm guessing you don't want to sleep in the bed that I was made in, so you can sleep in my bed and I'll take the couch.” She looked to the couch where I had just put my jacket on.

“That tiny thing? You'll wake up with a broken back...let's just both sleep in your room.” My eyes widened slightly when she said that and I looked away.

“I uh..I only have a single bed in my room though.” I looked at her with raised eyebrows and she just nodded sleepily.

“That's fine, I don't kick or take up much space..” She grabbed her bag and walked into my small bedroom.

I felt my face getting hot. Why am I feeling like this? It's not like I like her or anything…

“Jimin?” She called from the room and I picked up my jacket, turned off all the lights, locked the doors and finally went into my room.

She was already in the bed, up against the wall covering her face. Her body shook slightly and I knew she was crying.

I took my shoes off and got under the covers moving up next to her.

“Rose?” I called out softly and looked to her.

“Mhm?” She replied so quietly I could barely hear her.

“You don't have to cry alone.” She turned around when I said that and looked at me with shiny eyes.

I opened my arms and she sobbed as she came closer and buried her face in my chest. I wrapped my hands around her holding her small body to mine, giving her all the comfort I could.

“I'm sorry.” She whispered quietly and I furrowed my eyebrows.

“What for?” I looked down at her and she was drawing patterns on my shirt with her delicate fingers.

“For ruining things between you and Jungkook...he was your best-friend and I messed everything up.” She started to cry again and my heart hurt for her.

She's been through so much..kidnapped by the enemy, hurt so badly by her boyfriend...and she's worrying about me and Jungkook.

This girl is too good, too innocent and beautiful for this world.

“Rose, none of it was your fault...it was my fault for not protecting you. Besides, I'm angry at Jungkook too for being an asshole to you, so I'm glad we can get away from them for a while.” I brought my hand up and started massaging her soft hair.
