Blackout [lashton]

Chapter 16

Chris was moving his hands up Ashton's thighs, not bothering to prepare Ashton as he pressed himself to Ashton's entrance. He was hitting Ashton, hurting Ashton, saying Ashton's name...

"Ashton!"

"No! Stop!" Ashton felt like he was drowning in pain and fear.

"Ashy! Wake up!" Luke was shaking Ashton awake.

Ashton snapped his eyes open to see Luke's blue ones filled with concern.

"Oh my god, Luke." Ashton said, then immediently burst into tears.

"Are you okay?" Luke asked.

"No." Ashton said softly, and Luke wrapped his arms around the smaller boy. Ashton melted into the touch, pressing his face into Luke's bare chest.

"How can I help?" Luke asked. He hated seeing Ashton this sad. They only had about a week until classes started again, and Luke wanted Ashton to be better by then.

"Can we just, like, watch movies? Or something, I dunno."

"Movies sounds great, Ashton. What movie?"

"I don't care." Ashton said as Luke grabbed his laptop, logging onto netflix.

"Let's watch the avengers." Luke suggested, propping his laptop up so that Ashton could cuddle into his chest and still see the screen.

Halfway through the movie, Luke wasn't watching much of the movie. He was watching Ashton. Ashton seemed happy watching the movie, which was a good sign.

"I love you." Luke said softly.

"I know. I love you too." Ashton said, cuddling into Luke even more. After a bit, he said, "don't we have Louis and Harry's party tonight?"

"I already said that we'll take a rain check." Luke said, "they understood."

Ashton nodded and they finished the movie in silence. Luke put the laptop on the floor, and they laid there for a bit, tangled together.

"Luke?" Ashton asked.

"Yeah?"

"So you know how finals are coming up..."

Luke nodded and ashton continued, "and you can move out of the dorms after finals? Well, I was thinking that maybe... We could..."

"I'd love to live with you, ashy."

Ashton smiled and cuddled back into Luke's chest. They quickly fell asleep, smiles on their faces.
