Chapter 18

The day of nialls party was coincidentally on the same day Michael and Calum got home. Luke had texted him and they agreed to go to the party too.

Ashton and Luke decided that they would tell Michael and Calum that they were dating immediently. It would make no sense to put it off, after all. But as they rode the subway to the airport, Ashton couldn't help but doubt themselves and wonder how their friends would react.

Luke noticed Ashton's worry and he reached over, grabbing his hand. Luke mouthed, "itll be okay."

Ashton nodded and flashed like a halfhearted grin.

In the airport, they waited to meet Calum and Michael towards the entrance.

When they rounded the corner, Luke couldn't help but notice that Calum and michaels hands were intertwined.

After a few hugs, Calum pulled away to say something.

"Um, over the trip... Michael and I decided to start dating." Calum said, blushing deeply. "I hope you won't think any different of us-"

"Well, obviously you two are dating. Michael sent us a dick pic that was meant for you."

"He what?" Calum turned to michaels quickly reddening face.

"It was when you went to that museum and I skipped. I got bored and decided-"

"Please stop talking." Ashton said. "We have something to say also."

Michael rose an eyebrow as Ashton gave Luke a glance.

Luke grabbed Ashton's hand and said, "were also... You know... Dating."

Michaels face was blank for a second, and Ashton's stomach twisted. Suddenly, Michael burst into a huge smile and turned to a scowling calum.

"You owe me! Haha, motherfucker, you owe me 20 bucks!"

Calum rolled his eyes and produced 20 dollars from his wallet. Michael grabbed it and began to dance around with it, shaking his butt around.

"Suck my ass! I told you! I fuckig told you!" Michael said.

"You did." Calum said. "You see, we made a bet if you guys would be together by the time we came back, and-"

"I fucking won!" Michael said, skipping circles around Calum. "I won, suck my dick!!!"

"Maybe later." Calum said, and Michael gave him a wink.

The ride home was full of happiness as Michael and Calum talked about their trip.

Luke couldn't help think about the party tonight and how, if he messed up, Ashton would die.

As if on cue, Ashton leaned his head on Luke. "It'll be okay, babe."

Luke nodded, but he was still uncertain.

That night, at nialls party, the first thing they saw was a large group of people playing truth or dare.

"Come on, let's join them." Michael said, and Ashton and Luke followed uneasily.

They sat down across from none other than tyler and Chris. Chris wiggled his eyebrows at Ashton, who grabbed Luke's hand quickly. Chris shrugged and seemed to focus his attention on Louis, who was telling the truth about some story.

"And that's how I ended up taking a shit in my grandmas closet." Louis finished. "Tyler? Truth or dare?"

"Dare." Tyler said, smirking.

"I dare you to... Chug the rest of this." Louis handed him a half empty bottle of rum. Tyler grabbed it and downed it quickly.

"Easy." He said, "Ashton. Truth... or dare?" Tyler gave Ashton a look, as if daring him to choose truth.

"Dare." Ashton said quickly, and Luke's hand tightened.

" i dare you to do 7 minutes in heaven with Chris."

"I changed my mind. Truth." Ashton said quickly.

"Can't change, Ashton." Tyler shifted slightly and Ashton could see a shiny blade of some sort in his pocket.

"Okay." Ashton said.

"What? No! Ashton, were leaving." Luke said, pulling Ashton's arm.

"What's wrong?" Michael said, looking confused.

"Yeah, Ashton, what's wrong?" Chris said, smiling.

"Luke, I'll be okay. " Ashton said, kissing Luke's cheek. "I love you."

"Ashton, I've got a bad feeling about this." Luke said, but seeing Ashton's determined face made him sigh and say, "fine. I love you too."

"I'll be fine. What can happen in seven minutes?" Ashton said, and walked into the bedroom with Chris, a timer set for seven minutes.

Luke felt his heart race as he replayed Ashton's words in his head.

A lot can happen in seven minutes, Ashton. A lot.
