Green's POV

Bill wiped his forehead and clapped his hands together. "Everyone ready to meet your counterparts?" He proudly stood in front of a smoking machine that looked ready to combust. It looked a lot like an oversized pkmn teleporter.

The dexholders glared at him with numb looks. The last time they had trusted one of his machines, Gold was transformed into a Pokemon. It was funny at first, but it got annoying fast.

When I mean annoying, I mean really annoying.

Ruby flashed a weak smile before abruptly scrambling to get behind the sofa. He wasn't risking anything.

As I spotted the various Pokedex holders sprinting to get a cover, I sighed. Guess they weren't risking it either.

Red dived behind the table at the center of the room, while Blue and Yellow took cover behind the breakfast bar. Sapphire growled before galloping on all fours to a different room altogether as Silver inched his way to the far corner of the room, soon followed by Crystal and Gold.

I stood alone in front of the shaking machine and ignored Red's very obvious signals to take cover with him. Nothing too bad could happen, right?

I had never been so wrong.

"Soooo my dear counterpart! What do you want to do?" An over energetic mini version of me stood proudly on higher ground. His aura of arrogance would be able to sense from miles away.

I really didn't like my counterpart.

I shot at him my signature glare and walked in the opposite direction. Praying he wouldn't follow me.

No such luck.

"H-hey! Wait!" The spiky-haired nuisance slid in front of me and opened a case full of badges. "Heh, heh! Like my collection?" He raised his nose and sniffed like I was beneath him. It wasn't very effective since I was, at least, an inch taller than him.

I raised an eyebrow. "If an idiot like you could earn badges, I don't want to see what you consider weak in your universe."

The little butt smirked. "Is that so?" He cocked his hips to the side. "Then show me the nearest gym! I'll show you weak!"

I glanced around us, the closest town to here was Viridian.

I smirked. Maybe this would be more fun than I thought.

"Come on!" My emerald eyes glinted as I walked down the path to Viridian. Envisioning the sucker's face as he lost.

"You wanted to challenge a gym, didn't you?"

Gold P.O.V

This couldn't be happening, this couldn't be happening!

Why of all people me? What have I done wrong Arceus? Answer me!

There was me, the troublemaker of new bark town, sitting at a desk at-

I shuddered.

-school.

I buried my face in my hands as the hot sun beat down on my neck. Of all the counterparts I could have, why these two!? I glared at the two figures sitting side by side in the shade, while I was being baked alive by the window.
