It used to be a beautiful, sunny day at pallet town.

Not anymore it wasn't.

Swellows swooped and dived into the sky which was now streaked with a wispy purple. Long tendrils of colour snaked across the sky, leaving behind a pink and orange trail. the sun was setting.

Inside prof. Oak's lab, all the dexholders crowded the exits to the building. Every single one's eyes fixed on the darkening sky.

"When will they get here!" Green scowled. He crossed his arms and stared at the now dark horizon.

"Ho ho ho~!" Blue cackled. She put her hands on her hips. "Don't be so gloomy Greenie~!"

"They're 11 hours late"

"Oh, my! The big bad Greenie is actually worried about his peers?"

"You sure aren't "

"Oh, Greenie~ You didn't deny my accusation~"

"I'm not worried"

"Yes, you are~"

"No, I'm not"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Ye-"

"My Arceus! Just leave me alone pesky woman!" Green interrupted. He threw up his hands in frustration and grumpily slouched into the next room.

Blue teasingly frowned while putting a hand to her mouth, covering a growing devilish smirk.

Silver grunted while looking at the window. His knuckles popped as he gripped the ledge harder than before. "Where is he" the exchanger growled through clenched teeth.

Red and Yellow shared a glance. Though Silver would never admit it, the exchanger was worried about Gold. The breeder was one of the people absent from the pkdex meeting.

Crystal frowned while her gaze drifted onto someone else.

Emerald's eyes stayed fixed at the dark sky, no doubt waiting for the outline of a tropius to appear.

The tropius that Ruby and Sapphire always rode to pkdex meetings or anywhere really.

Where were the 3 missing pokedex holders?

...................................................................................................

"Hurry it up! SSG is gonna kill me if i'm late one more time!"

"I'm try'in ya know!"

"Then try harder!"

"AHHHHHHH" Ruby yelped while clutching his head.

Gold and Sapphire slowly turned around and stared at the charmer.

"OHNO OHNO OHNO!" The fashionista cried.

Sapphire bared her teeth. "What's da problem now prissy boy!?"

"My clothes are dirty!" He whimpered while pointing to a minuscule dirt speck on his shirt. The charmer frantically waved his gloved hands around, accidentally whacking Gold's head.

"NO NO NO!" Gold yelped as his goggles and hat flew into the void below. He clambered to the edge of tropius and helplessly watched his beloved accessories fall through the clouds, disappearing from view.

"I'm surrounded by'a bunch'a fancy pants" Sapphire muttered. She exasperatedly gazed upon Ruby and Gold who were both whining about their outfits.

"I want my hat!" Gold whined.

"I want a washing machine!" Ruby cried out.

Sapphire cursed. It was both hilarious and tiring how Ruby could turn into a cool, collected role model to a crying prissy while Gold could turn from a flirty, smooth-worded, prankster to a whiny, childish kid.

Sapphire sighed. They were similar that way.
