The white walls stained back at me, taunting me like a cat and a mouse. I never thought I'd see more white in my life. Until this, I rubbed my thumb over the scars on my forearm, looking at the window of the door, my reflection staring back at me burned and deforemed, it didnt look like the person I was but then again who here woulfd look at their relflection and be happy at what was starring back? I didn't know the time ezactly, I guess that was courtesy of the system or something but, it felt about time for the guys with the stun guns to come to my room and take me to the stupied therapy group I dreaded every other day . I was filled with anticipation, it was the kind of anticipation to make your hands clammy and your stomach hurt. I sat there staring, waiting, and like clockwork they opened my door, leading me to the room, it was so empty it was intimidating, standing there, I sauntered to my chair, it consisted the same dull grey it had always been, compared to the floor I seen no real visual difference. I took a deep gulp in, sitting, my back hitting the cold plastic, causing me to flinch. Everyone was submerged in their own discussions and around the room, seeming to preocupied with the courtesy bagles." It's Rebecca, right?" A person asked, I turned to face them seeing a scrawny boy, a scar coating his face, a mask covering the person behind, i knew that feeling all to well.
" Uh, yeah, and your Billy, right?" I asked giving a small smile.
" Yeah." he said returning it.
" So what are you here for?" I asked bringing up conversation.
" My dad wasn't the best." He said simply. I nodded understanding,
" How about you?" He asked me and i knew from his reaction that fear filled me, from the inside out.
" Its's okay, you dont have to tell me." He smiled, as everyone started into their chairs , the same grey as mine, Billy sat in the chair beside me and we all looked uncomfortable, but I guess with who we as a group were it made sense we were so uncomfortable.
" Welcome everyone." Doctor Smith said with a smile, taking a seat at the blue chair, which including his red top and kakis showed the only colour in the entire room, that wasnt grey, white or black, he crossed his legs, pulling out a clipboard and grabbing a pen.
" So how are we all doing today?" He asked with another smile, he smiled way to much in a way that would almost make you want to punch him for seeming so happy when everyone esle was so broken, so hurt, and so helpless.
" Im doing pretty fine." Billy attmited from beside me , and with that the meeting started.
