Everything stopped when she pulled the trigger. I couldn't breathe, then I realized the gun wasn't loaded, she gave me a smile that made my heart wrench, a smile that signaled she knew she was going to pay for what she just had done. Ger burnt face having the slightest amount of joy in it, straight the fear that I knew she had.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" The old man yelled at her, she only turned to him, the smile still on her face.
"You said I only had to shoot them you never said the gun had to be loaded." She spat ,his eyes went dark and he grabbed her arm, his grip tightening around her melted away flesh, dragging her through a door and down a staircase the other men following, slamming the door behind them.
"BECCA!" I yelled trying to escape, trying to get to her, Derek grabbed me pulling me from the bars.
"Brad, there's no use, she said she has a plan, now we need to think of one too, we can get them out, their alive Brad, we found them and their alive, we just need to think of a plan." Derek assured.
"You seen her Derek, their killing her, that's not alive to me, she looked like she would be okay if they killed her, and I don't know about you but that's not my sister." I cried, the thought of them hurting her sent a pang in my gut, I wanted to rip those bastard's throats out for what they did to my sister.
"We just need the right time, I already have a plan." Michael stated surprising us both.
"When I was here before, they tend to do their business as quick as they can, and head inside the house, all we need to do Is wait for them to leave through that door and I'll start the plan." Michael explained in a hushed tone. My insides buckled when I heard the screams from behind the door, the screams of agony and pain. Derek and Michael gave me a look of pity as Becca's screams echoed throughout the barn.
I don't know how long the screams echoed and wailed through the barn my heart aching more each time, but to me it felt as though it was an eternity. The old man and the two other men left the barn shortly after the wails had stopped. Michael waited a few moments after that until he pulled out a key and unlocked the cage.
"You two stay here, I'll fill her in on the plan, then I'll come back, don't move." Michael demanded, Derek and I nodded. I loved Becca, but something inside me told me I didn't want to go down there, I was scared that if I did I wouldn't go back in the cage afterwards, Id go straight to murder that whole damn family. Michael was gone for about ten minutes before he re-entered the cage. His face was pale, and he gave me a nod as if to say she was still alive.
" Alright the plan is ago, next time the three go down to Becca we get out, you two stand guard here, ill go in the house and grab Alex, Becca agreed to keep them down there as long as she can then I'll tell Alex to sprint the way back to the abandoned house, the guys will leave Becca go inside and that's when we get her and we head for the house as well, and we'll met Alex there." Michael stated as Derek and I nodded in agreement, now we just had to wait until they came back.
