Rise To Annwn

Chapter 6 Those who follow

The sun falls and night steps in to cover the land in beautiful darkness.

During this time Sora is walking around the city. He is preparing to go late night training.

Sora's ears pick up the sound of a body hitting the floor. As he went to investigate he spots Mr tux by a tree, he slides to the body when he realizes he is already dead.

"Who could have killed him he was A rank"

As he tries to think of a possible person he feels presences. He Spins around to spot a figure on the roof of a building.

The figure was a beautiful woman who looks to be around Sora's age. She has long black hair with beautiful red eyes. She wears a white sleeveless one-piece dress with a short black and red cloak. Around her left arm are black wraps similar to belts wrapping around her whole arm. She has stockings which go up to the thighs and red high heels.

Her name is Claire. She is counted as one of the most beautiful females in all of Annwn.

Sora has known her for a long time he can tell she was not the one that killed Mr.Tux.

He knew she would come for him, but why so soon?

Gently laying his body to the ground Sora stands up from his crouching position. Finding his killer was for a later time.

The witch of darkness.

The woman name is Claire and she is a royal.

They walk towards each other before stopping right in arm's length, they are around same height with each other. They both stand facing each other looking at each other. They may be the same height but Claire is around 200 while Sora is 17.

They are currently in Atral's main hub for forest life. It is located in the far right of the center of city Atral.

Sora went to the forest to train.

Around 30 seconds later Claire's lips start to move.

"Have you still been training in hopes of trying to surpass my sister"

"Yes"

Claire spins around doing an ax kick to Sora's face slamming it into the ground.

"You are stronger but you can't catch up to me let alone surpass my sister like this"

Sora gets hit in the head smashing him into the ground with dangerous force.

Sora's body slams into the ground strong enough to create webs in the ground, still he has no time to think as he moves to the side just barely Dodge Claire's attack.

(Damn Claire you are still so powerful)

Sora stands back up quickly to take a defensive stance but as soon as he gets up he sees the stone floor shattered into pieces.

Claire's attack was so strong the rubble from the ground flew upward.

Claire using it to her advantage starts to kick every single piece of rubble doing spins to increase her striking power.

Sora avoids all the rubble that was sent his way. Without a target, the rubble continues and flies into the buildings behind Sora destroying them completely.

Sora turns to his side to see Claire holding her favorite weapon, <The Abyss Desire> a staff that is completely black with a red orb inside of it.

"Remember this staff," Claire says as she swings it toward Sora's side.

Sora with no time to respond twist his body to avoid the attack landing a kick on Claire.

As Claire falls to the floor she vanishes before Sora 's eyes. Sora quickly turns to see only an after image.

Sora can hear the sound of moving air getting close to him.

Sora barely has time to think and relies solely on instinct.

He bends his back and barely avoids the blade of darkness that extends from Claires staff.

(Damn she is fast. Faster then Nekro)

As the blade barely grazes past him he notices the surrounding are not so lucky. The swing sends out a blade of darkness that went in every angle completely leveling the forest and part of the city.

He has no time to dwell as he rolls away trying to get some space in between him and Claire.

Her sword moves with her hand doing a vertical slash. It was as if she was parting the sky.

A dark sword blast zooms at Sora like they were jets, Sora Dodges but barely as the blast still continues past him and flies slicing the ground into two.

"I don't remember that"

"Of course you wouldn't I have awakened more of my dormant power since then"

"That may be true but your jump in power is absurd is this the power of a royal"

She closes in around Sora liver and swings with both hands.

Sora seeing this out the corner of his eye reacts in the nick of time to completely avoid the swing.

Sora seizes the hole Claire left for her self to unleash a massive blast of ether.

The attack hits Claire but is completely obliterated one swap of her hand.

Sora freaks out seeing she has another swing in motion.

He quickly pushes off his feet destroying some of the ground to leap away.

As the staff's bottom, hits the ground a wave of darkness coming bursting out with insane speeds. It quickly catches up to Sora as he is preparing to land.

It catches Sora and engulfs him in its power carrying Sora across the ground.

"So you see just how powerful I am now" Claire taunts moving her left hand to her waist.

(Man she is way stronger what am I supposed to do?)

Sora slides across the ground scraping his body and clothes. He manages to get out the grasp of the darkness.

"Ok so you got a little bit stronger, but so have I, " Sora says as he gets to turn around and look her dead in the eyes.

He knows that royals are on a whole other level but that doesn't affect the fight that's going on now.

She is the youngest, she hasn't awakened all of her dormant that is given to her by being a royal. She is underestimating Sora and holding back if he capitalizes on these faults then he can win.

He charges at her running at full speed. He pulls back his hand for a punch only for Claire to dodge shortly after.

"What?" Sora questions as he realizes he is now in the air upside down.

"Man you really forgot you say you will surpass her but forget one of her lessons." Claire shrugs her shoulder not even looking at Sora.

(Looks like I have no choice but to use my full power)
