Rise To Annwn

Chapter 1 The beginning

King, a term used to describe a man who rules over a country or others.

Well if we were talking about the king of the world Annwn the description "king" would be a little too little for him. The king the strongest man in the world became this after finding a mysterious fire deep within the earth's crust, this fire, magic gave the king unimaginable power allowing him the ability to shape the world to his liking.

This power could not be wielded by anyone but himself, the blood through his veins acted as a key to unlock the door to this mysterious power so it only made sense that his children were granted the ability to wield it as well.

The king ruled over the world but this was not a bad thing the world prospered in his time as king and many loved him but of course, all good things have to come to an end.

The king now lying on his death bed, all of his 15 children wanting to know who will get the throne.

The king not knowing set a game up for the 15. "Whoever rises above the rest will take the throne" these were the last words the king said as he left this world but when he did something mystical happen an explosion of energy erupted flowing through the world attaching itself to everything permanently altering the very core of life itself.

The throne now empty who will claim it.

This was a story told to me when I was a kid by my father, the war for the throne has been going on for centuries now and no one has claimed the throne yet.

Screams echo through the forest as the sound of a body hits the flow living blood in its wake.

Mutations.

Animals corrupted by the energy that left the kings body. A monstrous side effect that plagues everyday life.

Mutations, as the name implies, is an animal mutated by this energy into a blood-starved hideous creature from hell.

It lives off of human life and will kill anything that moves excluding its own kind.

These monsters vary from flying to swimming they are danger itself.

"So we doing this"

"Of course how else are we going to rank up"

"But I want food right now"

As the words leaked out of the teen's mouth the two others with him collectively facepalm.

Three figures walk through the destroyed forest talking as if knowing each other for years.

As they start to make it out of the forest their conversation ends.

The beast running around all turn to face the new figures that just appeared.

Mouths watering they rush at the one in the middle before getting its mouth completely shut by a hand.

The dark blue haired male casually throws the mutation to the side before continuing on his path like nothing ever happened.

"That was nasty Sora"

"Jeez calm down a little"

The three are known as champions.

People who go out and do dangerous jobs for a living, like adventures in a way.

The blue haired boy standing around 6 foot is named Sora he wears a black open jacket with black long pants and a white shirt. Around his neck is a pink jewel. His eyes are blue as the sky ready for anything.
