Chapter 21 A fight determined by skill

After beginning smacked all the way to kingdom come. Tsuyoi slowly begins to stand up trying to brush the fire away from his body.

This is going to be the 5th enemy that I fought that is stronger than me.

I move my eyes to stare at the beast. It seems to be the aggressive type.

Tsuyoi stands completely still waiting for it to make the first move.

The monster just walks towards me like some zombie...it's scary man. The distance between me is slowly disappearing as it begins to talk.

"You're the first person who has not run away me by now"

It's voice still sounding like a smart and dignified person, I still can't get used too.

"Well, my master told me to stand and fight my enemies. It also seems you fought other people besides me?"

"Yes, they all ran away. But I swiftly killed all of them. All 47"

Did that monster just say all 47, that was the same amount of champions that came to deal with the situation. He killed all of them.

The thought of this monster being able to kill all of them strikes fear in my heart.

It continues to walk at me. It eyes jetting out this green substance, hands dangling by his waist. He has some giant claws.

It is a stage 3 Leviathan...oh great.

When it finally gets to me. The monster just stands there in front of my face.

"Names, Deep Frost"

"Tsuyoi Tensei"

With that exchange of names, the fight starts.

It leads with a right jab.

Ok easy enough to counter.

With a swift movement, the beast unleashes a powerful attack on my left gut.

The attack was a feint. Deep frost is smart enough to use Feints.

My body folds over as another hit smashes into my back.

I am now in the road body, embedded in it I mean.

I notice that my body is being dragged up. Next thing I know, I'm being held by his hand.

Three quick strikes and my stomach is filled with pain enough to make me cough blood as soon as I was released.

It just stands over me, mocking me.

Tsuyoi uses wave splitter facing the ground to push Deep Frost away. Tsuyoi turns to face Deep Frost the waves of energy flowing back into his body.

Now it's my turn beast.

Boom, a foot is in my face. Tsuyoi was able to sense it but was not fast enough to avoid it.

Tsuyoi's body flies onto the floor doing barrel rolls.

Come on.

Once again Tsuyoi stands back up only to be put back on the floor by Deep frost.

The pattern keeps going until Tsuyoi finally manages to land a hit. Blood Splatters onto Deep frosts body.

But it was not Deep frosts blood. Tsuyoi's fist made contact with Deep frost's face. The fist smashed into one of Deep frost's spikes on his face.

Tsuyoi's face quickly shifted to a face of confusion.

Once again Tsuyoi body was treated with another wound by Deep frost.

His barrier and harden body are not strong enough to handle the sharpness of Deep Frost's spikes.

I found out he was stronger than me what did I think was going to happen.

Tsuyoi is making mistakes. He has the advantage in his senses but not speed or strength.

He is at a total disadvantage again.

Tsuyoi gets knocked back on the ground. Ashes light the night sky. He and Deep frost are surrounded by fire.

"You have the eyes of a man with no purpose, your master must be horrible"

"I am surprised you made it to me"

"Thanks, also you need a janitor after a while the body's just started to pile up. I was struggling to get through some doors"

Nekro finds himself in the main chamber of the mansion.

The main chamber has a long red carpet in the middle. It is massive with plenty of room. In the back middle is a chair close to a throne with someone standing in it.

Nekro closes the door behind him to hide the pile of body's left of the assassins sent to deal with him.

"Sorry I groped some of them...r
But they are knocked out so don't feel so bad"

He had to kick some of the unconscious bodies in order to walk through some doors.

"So I have a question for you...?"

"Hey there can you shut up, I came here to fight not for a tea party" Nekro quick to cut him off.

Nekro charges at the man sitting on the throne. In a heartbeat, Nekro's sword was in the man.

The man actually caught the blade with a scythe. The Scythe soon vanishes with the hand holding it.

With a burst of blood, Nekros side was sliced three times. Nekro quickly backs off. The Wound still dripping blood.

"You are pretty slow"

"Yeah he is right"

"You are not helping Nicole"

The man that delivered the damage to Nekro's side had a long cloak of his body. He had a completely black outfit with. He was a shadow.

From the facial structures, Nekro can see he is a man in his 40's with a long beard and yellow eyes that pierced the black chamber.

Nekro snapping back onto his enemy launches back into the battle. He swings his sword all over the place using his speed to gain an advantage.

"hmmm, no skill" The assassin using his knife to parry the sword only after to land a powerful kick. He carries a scythe in his right hand and a knife in his left.

Nekro is getting frustrated. He starting to fight seriously. Black lighting emits from his body as he prepares for combat.

"Black lighting what is that?"

"I don't know how I got this power but all I know is that it is more powerful than normal lighting" Nekro now starting to fight using his powers than relying on his swords.

With a flick of the wrist, Nekro sends a bolt of lightning at the boss.

The man spins his knife around his finger and toses it at a wall redirecting the lightning into the wall.

But at the cost of precious seconds. Nekro taking advantage moves into his blind spot leaving a trail of black lighting.

Boom, the blade clashes with the assassin's own blade leaving the fight into a power struggle.

"Why are you fighting me"

"Because you hurt innocent lives"

"I did not kill them and I did it for a job don't blame me"

"Ths only one to blame is you. You took the job"

"You are protecting the things important to you. I am doing the same"

Nekro and his enemy fight quickly turned into a conversation. With the final line spoken Nekro face turned into confusion itself. He had always believed that villains just do bad things and heroes are there to punish them so seeing some villain protecting something threw a wrench into Nekro's mind.
