Chapter 16 A race and a new friend

An orange light sprays over the land of Atral like paint from the sun, Sora is walking early next to the harbor.

This harbor was different it was not the same one Pando uses for his boat, this one was a pretty big one with an upper level for streets and sidewalks. It also had a lower level that connects to the most docks and beachside, Sora was walking on the sidewalk on the upper level.

Sora continues to walk until his eyes spot something out the corner of his eyes.

(It's a girl)

All he can see is her long argent hair and her ruby red eyes.

Her silver White hair flowing in the wind entering, it's beautiful. The hair looked completely white shining when the sun like hits off of it. Her ruby reds eyes so clear as if he was looking at an actual ruby.

As he continues walking stun by the beautiful aura the girl was making the girl somehow notices it and jogs over to Sora current position.

"Wana race to the diner last one has to buy the other breakfast"

"Huuuuh"

Sora could not believe it the first words spoken from the girl is a race. Sora could not wrap his head around it never the less he agrees.

After stopping and counting down from 3 the race starts.

Sora sprints with his might trying to gain an early lead.

He continues sprinting on the side of the harbor sun reflecting on the ocean creating beautiful orange scenery.

He looks back to see the girl at the starting line waving her hand smiling.

Sora not really caring as he believes she would try to show him up by running last second. In order to not let that happen, he continued to sprint but a thought crossed his mind.

Sora stops dead in his tracks.

Back at the starting line, the girl stands around waiting, moving her body back and forth as she could not stand still.

"That man should be nearing the entrance by now"

"I have a name"

The girl is visibly startled as she turns to see Sora walking up behind her.

Sora came back because he felt that even if she was faster he would still do it on fair terms.

So he jumped to the lower section and circled around.

The girl still visibly shocked, smiles.

"Interesting you are the first person to do that, hahaha, fine have it your way far race"

"..." Sora only nods.

"Can I have your name"

"Sora"

Sora and the girl get into ready positions counting again down from 3 and sprint off.

Sora trying his best making sure the girl is trying, he looks around his and spots girl running right behind him.

Sora now knowing she is going to try sprints at one of his fastest speeds sound. Running and using the terrain to his advantage jumping around and cutting corners.

As he neared the diner he spots a familiar face. The girl passed him even though he was running at the speed of sound.

She turns to her side sliding one her right foot, shifting her weight to that leg to stop herself.
