Chapter 23 A fiery Round 2

The heat surrounds my body as fire rages on from everywhere I look. I turn my neck up to the sky to see the clear black sky. We started this conflict in the afternoon, now its night...time moves fast. I trudge my feet along the road, I am exhausted from the fight. The amount of Ether I had to use during the fight was insane...I thought I was going to pass out.

As I continue on my path hoping to find a place to relax, I hear the ever so slight displacement of some rubber.

I turn my neck to see the source of the sound. My thoughts racing. Hoping that it is not what I am thinking about.

Just as I was not wishing for Deep frost begins to stand back up from his quick dirt nap.

"Wow, you put some really good hurt on me"

I can never get used to his intellectual sounding voice, can I?

Slowly with my eyes follow Deep Frost's movement as he gets up as it begins to stares at me like I am a target he will not let go of.

"You seem strong, so I have chosen that I go full strength too if that's ok with you"

My body screams to reply with the word no, but I feel as if I have no choice here.

Deep Frost's body soon gets set ablaze as he begins to walk towards me trying to act like a badass.

He looks like a humanoid broken piece of ice with the name Deep frost and his eyes are just green. And his power is fire.

My body screams it makes no sense but my mind says just go with it you got no choice.

So that's how the city keeps getting set on fire...it's because of him.

Deep Frost now wants a rematch that I am not willing to give.

The fire emits from each craves of his body. Each crack in his body is leaking fire. He is almost the fire itself.

He towers over me staring directly into my soul. All I see now is a flaming reaper ready to take my soul into the afterlife.

My heartbeat increases as I realize what I have to do. I have to fight him again.

Round 2 had just begun. Tsuyoi got the first hit dead on Deep Frost's face.
Deep frost's body does not even waver as Tsuyoi's bare-knuckle is exposed to the fiery edges of his opponents face.

Tsuyoi jumps back gripping his hand tightly. His knuckle is now covered with burn marks and cuts. He could not deal damage before without taking damage now he also has to suffer burns.

Tsuyoi in a bind he can't land any hits. Tsuyoi turns sprints off in the other direction. Deep frost is not long before giving case.

Tsuyoi dashes through the destroyed city jumping, vault and sliding through rubble to avoid any contact with Deep Frost.

Tsuyoi can use Ether to resist heat and blades but he is not at the level to deal with Deep Frost.

He had one huge weakness before his power up, that was his bad technique. he never pivoted his foot or actually had experience fight against humans tile today.

He is a monster who was born and raised in a jungle killing animals to survive.

Now, he can easily make up for the faults with his massive defensive abilities.

Tsuyoi continues his retreat with every few seconds Deep Frost closing the distance only to be thrown off by a split second reaction.

Tsuyoi only got one ace in the sleeve he has to make it work.
