During the few weeks, Elodis had made her way up to being General Linford's main aide de camp, and had also been allowed to fight with said job, seeing as they didn't have as many soldiers As the other side.This was a big achievement for Elodis, seeing as she was only 14, but nobody knew that. She hadn't gotten shot yet in the war, but had killed at least 2 people on the other side, both after they had shot someone else.
She had wanted to be in the army for years, so had trained herself to dodge a few hits and shoot people quickly. She also knew how to throw daggers effectively and was excellent at hand-to-hand combat.
She and the other general's and aide de camps were gathered in General Linford's tent to discuss battle tactics. Elodis came up with the idea to start getting ready at midnight, and ambush from then. Her plan was accepted with a few add-ons and changes.
They were to get ready at 11:00 P.M. and be ready by midnight. They would set out 30 minutes later and be quiet and stealthy. If all went well, they would ambush at 1:00 A.M. and attack the troops unexpected. It wouldn't win the war for good, but it would sure be a good start.
