The Ball

They spent some time In the park, although how long, they didn't know. Once they left, Alaric was up and talking to Harper again. Silvia was in the front, leading everyone where they needed to go. Elodis and Emery were in the back talking, while Harper was happily in the middle. Soon they reached the castle again, And Alex lead them through the halls to his room. Luckily Lucielle was out and about so they had almost nothing to worry about. Elodis was Luckily unrecognized by anyone, and they passed quite a few people.Once they had gotten to the room, Alex glanced at Harper and she went silent. Alaric didn't notice and continued to smile at Harper. Silvia looked smug sitting in the corner of the room."Tonight is the ball, so everyone should get ready. Who's going first? Not you, Elodis." Silvia said."I'll go." Alaric said."Kay." Silvia said."Okay, who's going after Alaric?" Silvia added."I can." Emery said. "I have short hair unlike someone." Emery glanced at Elodis. "Yes, why don't you go? And then I'll go, then Harper." Silvia goes on till they have a complete list."Sounds good."

when Alaric came out, Emery went in. The cycle continued until everyone was standing around in their outfits. "Uh, who is going in in again?"harper asks. "What do you mean?" Alaric says. "To talk to Lucielle." Silvia replied. "And I will." She added. "Okay then, good luck." "We should get going" Emery added.

"See you guys." Silvia said.

The ball had began.

Elodis and Emery walked out of the ballroom together during the ball, only to see that it was raining. Alaric decided to talk to Alex. Harper went to go socialize. "Hey Alex!" Alaric said cheerfully. "Alaric.." Alex greeted hesitantly. "So, ballrooms pretty big, right?"

"Mmhmm. Which is why Lucielle often enough, trains in here." Alex said. "She trains here? That's not good. What does she do?"

"Swordplay. Archery. Scythes." Alex replied. "So those are the things she's good at? We're gonna need to know this stuff when we.. defeat her." Alaric said the last part very quietly. "Right."

Elodis and Emery re-entered the ballroom a while later, not wet at all. Harper talks a bit with someone and then goes over to them. Alaric continued to talk to Alex. Alex walked and talked, and eventually made it to a bookshelf. Alaric talked around to a few people after that, just getting on the good side of the higher-ups. Alex made a struggle but got a sealed shut book, and quickly put it in his satchel. Elodis and Emery eventually walked back out of the ballroom again, giggling and holding hands.
