Lisa's Pov
January 16, Jennie's birthday. I left the house, without Jennie knowing, to prepare everything for the surprise. I asked help from Jisoo and Irene. They both prepared the table set up while I edited the video I'm going to show Jennie later. I also asked help from IU in cooking since she's a chef. While Yeri is in my house to distract Jennie.
"Jisoo, is it done?"
"Yeah"
"You already know what to do on the upcoming days, right?"
"Uh huh, that I should always be with her and to tell her I still love her."
"Nice...thanks again Jisoo"
"Welcome"
It's almost 5 pm and I need to go back at home. IU, Jisoo, and Irene finished setting up and the only thing needed is of course the birthday girl. I drove back home and saw Yeri and Jennie fighting like kids. Ughh, I shouldn't have brought Yeri here. Without Jennie knowing, I put the blindfold on her.
"Hey! Who's this?"
I carried her inside my car instead of answering her. She was so noisy the entire time😑.
"I think I know who you are. Your car freshener smells familiar for me....Lisa? Is that you?"
"You're good in guessing."
"Because you are the only person I know who'll do this to me. Where are you taking me?"
"You already know where."
"Oh"
We reached the place and I carefully helped Jennie in going out of the car. We went inside and I removed her blindfold.

Jennie's Pov
When Lisa removed my blindfolds, I didn't see her beside me but I saw a video playing in front of me. I automatically smiled when I started watching it. It's a video of me while there's a voice in the background. It's Lisa's voice, she's giving her message for me. Fuck it! Why is her message so emotional and sad like--like she's giving up on something. The video finished with tears on my eyes. Lisa appeared from nowhere and she's holding a box of chocolates.
"Here, I know these chocolates are your favorite"
"Thank you" I wiped my tears
"Follow me"
I followed her near the swimming pool and I saw a foods and candles on the table. She moved the chair for me to sit on. She sat in front of me while we quietly eat the foods prepared. She's scaring me right now because she's so quiet, she'll normally talk to me and make me smile or laugh at times like this but it's different today. So I decided to talk to her.
"Lisa" "Jennie" We both said at the same time
"Uhh, you go ahead" She exclaimed
"I just wanna say thank you for all these. You never failed to make me smile."
"Welcome and you're always will."
"W-why are you so quiet?"

Lisa's Pov
Why are you so quiet? Hmm, if only I can answer you the real reason why without you being hurt. I just want to spill out all the feelings I'm hiding in my heart. I already answered your question by my actions but you are just too numb to feel it.
"D-do you love me?" I spilled out
"Lisa--"
"Answer me. I will be asking you for the LAST time, Do. You. Love. Me?"
"I'm sorry, Lisa"
Shit, I knew it. But I won't stop until I hear those words coming out from your mouth, Jennie Kim.
"Yes or no. Those are the only choices"
".................N-n-no--but I will--"
"Don't continue. It's okay. Just finish your food and we'll go home."
"Lisa I'm so sorry if I can't--"
"I told you it's okay, right? Everything's fine. Don't worry I still love you" I said giving her a warm smile.
When we finished, we went back home and we continued talking liked we used to regardless of the moment earlier. The two of us washed up and went to bed but before I sleep, I check on Jennie first who's already sound asleep. I stared at her face for about 5 minutes when tears came down rushing to my cheeks. That's it. I don't wanna feel this kind of emotion again. Jennie doesn't love me. I have to keep that in mind.
"I'm letting you go." I whispered
