Lisa's Pov
As soon as my second class finished, I quickly looked for Jennie. I saw her in the gymnasium with a certain guy. They're laughing together. How I wish I can smile like Jennie after our break up. Anyway, I have Rosé now. I took a deep breath before I walk towards them. She's really shocked to see me, eh?
"L-Lisa, you're back." She mumbled
I signalled the guy to leave us alone.
"Hey, long time no talk." I smiled
She smiled at me sweetly. Something changed on her, the way she looks at me, the way she smiles at me. What's with her? Is this the effect of her break up with Jisoo?
"I, uhh, wanna talk to you." I looked straight to her eyes
Her eyes are full of sadness. What happened to her?!
"About what?" She asked
".......About"
Will I really ask her? I might offend her.
"Uhmmm"
"C'mon tell me."
"......A-About your sister."
She was silent for a moment and then she gave me an awkward smile.
"W-what's with my sister?"
"I know her. What had you done to her?" I asked
Jennie's Pov
Lisa's question gave me chills. Fuck, I don't wanna remember that crappy moment one more time. How did she know about that? And how did she know my half sister? Have they met already?
"Answer me, Jennie."
Oh shit, she seems angry. But why? She shouldn't care about my past especially the past with my sister.
"How did you know?" I asked back
"Don't answer my question with another question." She grinned
Fuck. She is scaring me. I wasn't able to speak up for 3 minutes and I guess she already lost her patience.
"ANSWER ME, JENNIE KIM!" She shouted as her voice echoed in the gym
My tears automatically fell, not because she shouted at me but because of the past I just remembered. When Lisa saw me crying, her angry expression changed into a very soft one.
"I-I'm sorry for shouting at y-you. I just l-lost my temper and--"
"It's okay." I said while wiping my tears
"Do you mind telling me?" She asked
We sat down on the bench and told her the story why I nearly killed Rosé.
"Everything was an accident. I-I didn't mean to push her down the stairs. I was really mad at her that time because I was upset that my mother gave the company to her and at the same time, she received all the attention of our relatives and friends including Sana and Yeri. I hated her to death. My insecurities devoured me. After our highschool graduation, I envied her for getting almost the top awards so I decided to talk to her after that day. I lost my shit so I pulled her hair and slapped her hard. She didn't fight back though. I didn't noticed that she was in the edge of the stairs. I accidentally pushed her down the stairs. I still remember how her blood streamed down to to her head. My mom and stepdad arrived and saw me pushed Chaeyoung. They were very mad at me especially my mom. She even disowned me and my anger towards Chaeng got bigger. B-But I already regret that day. Promise."
"You don't know what Rosé suffered in Australia. It was worse than you think."
"Why do you care for my sister that much? When did you met you her?"
"You really wanna know how I knew Chaeyoung?" She asked
"Yes." I replied
".................Well, all I can say is that she's my first love." She smiled bitterly
It felt like an arrow stabbed my heart when Lisa told that. It can't be.
