Lisa's Pov
I woke up earlier than the usual but Jennie is still sleeping. I tried to wake her up but she didn't want to. I quickly ate my cereals and milk then took a bath and brushed my teeth. When I went out of the C.R. I saw Jennie eating breakfast.
"Why are you so early?" Jennie asked me
"I'm excited for the tryouts😫" I replied with a big smile on my face
"You sure are."
"Jennie you need to move fast."
"Can't you wait?!" Jennie said irritated
"I can but ugh"
I'm so ready to go while Jennie is still putting her clothes on. After some minutes, she's finally done. I'm not going to pick up Irene today since she'll be going with her girlfriend, Tzuyu. I drove as fast as I can with my Jaguar car. We reached the school in just 5 minutes.
"Fuck Lisa, why are you sooooooooo excited?!" Jennie complained
"This is my first time to attend a tryouts" I replied
"I thought you were a varsity before?" She asked
"A VOLLEYBALL varsity😅"
"Then why didn't you just tryout in volleyball?!"
"I told you, I'm better at playing baseball"
"I'm going to watch you play later"
"W-what?" I asked with a stutter
"I'm going to watch you since I don't wanna attend my class"
"But don't you have cheerleading practice today?"
"Nope"
Shit no! I'm being nervous because of Jennie. I don't want to be embarrassed in front of her. How about if I don't play well today?! Fuck it.
"Make me as your inspiration while you play😊" Jennie said to me.
"You're always my inspiration😉" I replied with a wink
Jennie's right. I will surely make her as my inspiration while I play later. She is my motivation. It's 8 am and the students whose going to tryouts are in the baseball field already including me ofcourse. We're starting to warm up and many other students are going here to watch. I didn't expect that the students who will be watching are many. I'm finding for Jennie but I saw Jisoo with Nayeon instead. She gave me a goodluck sign to boost my confidence. I saw Jennie walking towards Jisoo. I smiled at her and she smiled back at me. With that smile, I'm so ready to play. Some cheerleaders are here too like Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, IU, and Sana. The rest are with Tzuyu watching Irene. The game is about to start when a group of girls cheered for me. I looked at them and it was the cheerleaders. I just smiled at them. I, again, look at Jennie. She's my motivation. The game started and it was really tough for me to play. They're so fucking good! While running towards the base I remembered Jennie. I ran as fast as I could. When the match ended, I quickly went to Jennie.
"You were good out there" Jennie complimented me
"I told you I'm good😏" I replied
Me and Jennie went in the volleyball court together to check if the volleyball match is done. We saw Tzuyu and the other cheerleaders cheering for Irene. It's the last set. Irene's team is winning. Irene ended the match with a very strong spike. After the game, Irene and I went in the shower room to refresh our bodies. We changed our clothes and put some perfume. I saw Jennie waiting for me and that made me smile. Atleast she cares for me right?
