|Chapter: 31|
"Let me go."
I tried to free from his grip. Ha! If only that was possible. He kept dragging me until we were in a less crowded room. The kitchen.
Without a word he turned around, lifted me up and placed me like an object on the counter table with a beautiful compliment, "You're really heavy."
"I never told you to carry", I retorted back folding my arms.
"Stay still", he commanded pointing his index before going to the fridge and pulled out a water bottle. He cracked open the cap, his eyes never leaving me as he walked to me like some predator walking to his prey.
"Here", he passed the bottle.
I gulped down the half of the water. I was really thirsty. But how did he know?
"Now listen up", he started.
As if he put some spell on me, I nodded my head like an obedient child would do. Staring in those eyes meant the world to me, wait what?
"First, do not drink anything from the red cups. Stay away from it. Second, don't drink or eat anything someone other than me offers. I'm deadly serious about this point..", he stopped before smiling charmingly, "Third, don't talk to anyone except me, of course. Not even that James kid."
What again? I shook my head to get myself out from the muddled state.
"Please tell me you are kidding about the third point", I narrowed my eyes at him to find a glint of mischief or anything but no they were blank and serious.
"Do I look like?", he questioned raisng his brow. I shook my head again. But I cannot give up and just obey him.
"You are not my boy...I mean my father", I said looking away.
"I'm your daddy", he said with a goofy grin spreading on his face.
I gaped at him, and he smirked to tease me more.
"But I'm here with James...", I started to object again but he put his index on my lips to shut me up which works.
"You break a rule and we go home", he stated dangerously staring at my lips. I gulped.
He pull his finger away clearing his throat. "Stay here and remember the rules. I'll be back."
He turned to walk away. "Bossy", I muttered folding my arms again.
"I heard that", he said without looking back.
"Well, you were meant to", I yelled.
I took the water bottle and gulped down some more water. Being the stupid that I am, I left my phone and purse in James' car. If not I could've gone through my insta feed to kill the time. Why does everybody leave me? Am I that boring to be with?
Suddenly I spotted a familiar red head walking around the kitchen like she own the place.
"Mary", I waved at her. She rolled her eyes at my smiling face but eventually she came to me where I was sitting on the counter.
"Hey to the most annoying person", she said and drank something from her red cup. She finishes the cup and go for another one. Wow!
"What are you doing here sitting like a big annoying baby?", she asked as I continue to stare at her in awe. She can really drink.
"Nick told so", I shrugged my shoulders.
"I should've guessed", she said rolling her eyes before she came and leaned next to me with her back and elbows resting on the counter table behind. Last weekened when I was at work, Nick came time to time to check on me.
