10 years later
"Mmh.."
I woke up with soft petal like kisses on my stomach, that made my toes curl and I smiled at the familiar feeling and him always waking me up in the morning in the same way. I fluttered my eyes open, looking down at him as I ran my hands through his hair.
And I swear, my heart stopped for a second when he lifted his head from my stomach and smiled, flashing his dimples. This is the sight, I want to wake up to each day with the Californian sun shining bright outside the window.
He hovered over me, supporting his bare body with his arms on the either side, keeping himself from crushing my body with his. My erect nipples lightly brushed on his strong chest, that I almost moaned.
"Morning, love", with that he kissed me, gently. "How are you feeling?", he asked after pulling away and kissed my bare shoulder.
"Better, no more morning sickness", I sighed, cuddling closer to his chest as he wrapped his arms around me and lay back on his back. I closed my eyes again, trying to take a small nap when he suddenly started laughing.
"What?", I asked annoyed.
"Did you really forget what day is today, Rena?", he asked, looking amused. I lifted my body pressing on his chest as I try to remember the date, and look at the calender on the nightstand when I couldn't. 2nd of August, Tuesday. Oh duckshit!
"It's our..."
"MOMMMYYYY!!!"
That's all it took for me to jump out of the bed, pull one of Nick's shirt on and run to get the door. Meanwhile, Nick was laughing his ass off as he put on some pants.
I opened the door, only to reveal a carbon copy of little Nick with the same blonde hair and dark eyes which were pinning me down right now. He was tapping his foot impatiently, a small pout on his lips and arms folded, so intimidating just like his father.
"You forgot, again?", the boy who was turning six today asked angrily.
I shook my head vigorously, "No baby, I mean yes mommy is a bad mommy but now, I remember. Please forgive mommy, will you?" I kneeled to his height. I was begging him with my big doe-eyes which was actually working, I think.
'Yes, Rena don't give up he is just like his father tough in the outside but soft like cotton candy inside and who can never stay mad at you', I gave myself a little encouragement speech.
"Okay kid, put that act off now. Your mommy even forgets her own birthday", Nick said trying to tame Grey's anger. "Plus, she is getting old", he added and I shoot him a glare that he returned with his charming smile and I melted like an ice cream.
"Happy Birthday, my boy", Nick picked him up on his shoulder before throwing him back on the bed, that cause Grey to laugh as he try to stand up but Nick already had him in an arm lock. He struggled to get out of his father's strong grip but failing.
