Finn Wolfhard's pov
At school Saige sat next to Jaeden and I didn't say anything about it. I am happy for her. She looks really happy and before she was not and this is a huge change for her.
I avoided her, I hated doing this but something in me just said 'leave her alone she's happy and you don't need to destroy that. You will never make her happy the way Jaeden does.'
I decided to just leave her alone but then when I'm outside and when it's just me and Saige I talk to her and don't avoid her. It's wierd how I react between people.
Sophia- what's up knuckle head?
Finn- hey
Sophia- what's wrong?
Finn- nothing, why?
Sophia-you seem a bit off today
Finn- I am not
Sophia- whatever you say big guy
Finn- what are u doing now?
Sophia- I'm with Ben watching the 'quiet place' but it's getting a bit boring so we paused the movie and decided to make popcorn till then
Finn- sounds interesting
Sophia- it's not, tell me about u Finn
Finn- there's nothing I'm just sitting at home texting you.
Sophia- can I ask you something?
Finn- sure anything
Sophia- Is Jaeden dating Saige?
Finn- why would you say that?
Sophia- they were never off their backs and I thought Saige was your girlfriend.
Finn- we were never together from the start
Sophia- you may say that but that's not what you really feel
Finn- what do you know about my feelings?
Sophia- you were looking at her with this gleam in your eyes and you started to avoid her and I think she realizes it.
Finn-is it that obvious.... damn I knew I should have talked to her
Sophia- you like her?
Finn- no, she likes Jaeden. I can't like her.
Sophia- how would you know she truly loves Jaeden? Why can't you like her?
Finn- 1. She asked me to help her with Jaeden
2. Because she likes someone who makes her happy. I don't want to ruin that.
Sophia- so you do like her?
Finn- where are u getting these ideas from?!
Sophia- you like her! Finn this is your first girl crush!
Finn- I've had crushes before😒
Sophia- just admit you like her! I won't stop annoying you like this.
Finn- fine I do like her but you can't tell anyone about this.
Sophia- I won't. Can you believe you admitted this to me? A girl!
Finn- holy shit I admitted I had a crush on a girl to a girl!
Sophia-😂😂 I won't tell anyone about you and our secret. I gtg but if anything happens and you want advice give me a heads up.
Finn- I'm not sure I'll do that
Sophia- funny Finn, I meant by advice. This conversation is not over between us.
Finn- it is.... please let it be.
Sophia- but it's not.
A sense of relief went over me. Telling someone about my feelings really helped me. I hope she doesn't go around telling anyone about me.
