Finn Wolfhard's pov
Sophia sat next to me and just put on a cheeky and cunning smile. "What?" I asked.
" What do you mean ' what?' Your in love and you can't admit that" she said.
I let out a short laugh "I'm not in love at all. Maybe...... but these feelings go away" I said.
Sophia looked intrigued. "What are you gonna do about this?" She asked.
I looked down and guilt just weighed over me "Nothing" I said.
"You can't expect Jaeden to go after her like that. He doesn't even know whether he likes her. You know you like her and that's love Finn" Sophia said.
I scoffed and smiled to myself "stupid love" I said. "What was that?" Sophia asked.
I shook my head and let out a little chuckle "It's this thing I have with Saige. 'Stupid love'" I said.
"There we go with Saige again. You talk about her non-stop and you didn't want everyone to know you were thinking about her 24/7 " Said Sophia.
I widened my eyes knowing that she was right but I can't admit it. "There's nothing I can do now... she told me she liked Jaeden. I'm helping her to get with Jaeden" I said.
Sophia smiled at me. "You know Finn I always figured you as wierd but your not. You have feelings. Your a softy" Said Sophia.
I laughed at what she said and I said " I guess my acting is really good" I said.
"What are you doing tonight?" She asked.
I shrugged and said " I'm giving lessons to Saige about how to be in a relationship or whatever you call it" I said.
"How come I didn't know about this?" Sophia asked. I shrugged.
"What are you gonna teach her loser?" She asked.
"I taught how to go for a movie with a guy and maybe today we'll learn-"
"What guys hate and what guys don't" Said Sophia.
"Yeah maybe" I said and Sophia giggled. I ignored the fact that she giggled because I didn't understand the reason why and didn't want to know the reason why. "Hey Finn....." Sophia's voice trailed off. I took a sip of my juice and saw Saige walking to the other side if the cafeteria to get a juice box.
"When are you going to teach her how to kiss a guy?" Sophia asked and I spitted out my juice in front of me. "What! What makes you think I'll teach her that?" I exclaimed.
Sophia shrugged "When your teaching a girl who's perhaps never been in a relationship before you should teach her how to kiss. Am I right?" Sophia asked.
"Is that what all you girls think?" I asked. Sophia laughed again. "Listen if you need me, you know I'm here" Sophia said. "I don't think I need your help" I said giving out a short laugh which made sophia playfully punch me on the arm.
I looked over at Saige at the other table where she sat just for a few seconds and got up and left to the garden in school. 'Outside' my thoughts wandered. 'Why can't she forget her sister and family and people around her, and come sit with us? It's not like it's the end of the world if she does sit with us and associate'
Saige looks over at me and I naturally smile but she looks down at her shoes. I look down for a millisecond and look up just to catch her eye again but when I do so, she's gone. I sigh and shook my head disappointed in myself.
'Would she like me back if I confessed to her what I feel? I doubt very much' I thought. The bell rang soon afterwards. Afterschool I packed my bag and headed home soon.
I did wait for Saige but I guess she was busy with something or she left early and that's when Sophia comes.
"Finn.... what are you doing here by yourself? I thought you left" Sophia said.
I shrugged "I was just about to leave" I said. Sophia smiled at me and walked out with me. She insisted in walking me home.
"First time a girl is dropping me home" I said digging my hands in my pocket and my gaze on the floor.
