“oh, saan ka pupunta?” Nayeon looked up at me when I stood up.
I bit my lower lip and roamed my eyes around hoping to see Jaemin or the other boys around.
“Jaehyun oppa’s acting weird. He said he’ll take me home today. Wala naman kami napag-usapan na ganon.” i can’t deny that I’m slightly worried. I don’t know why my brother is acting like that.
Nayeon took a sip from her drink, “Hala ka! Maybe he heard about Jaemin and Yuna? Nako hindi na boto ‘yon kay Jaemin.” she said sounding a bit in panic.
I felt my heart thumped in a faster pace. Ayaw ko naman ng ganon. I’m sure Jaemin still has a better explaination about it right?
“Hindi naman siguro.” I fiddled with my fingers as she shrugged her shoulders off.
“My cousins were like that when they saw Renjun with Shin. But, anyway, baka badtrip lang gawa ni Savi tapos trip niya kayo idamay ni Jaemin.”
I nodded my head and told her to tell the boys about it. Hindi na ako nakapagpaalam pa sa kanila dahil baka lalo lang magalit ang kapatid ko sakin.
When I arrived at the parking lot, his brows were furrowed hardly and he have this serious expression over his face. Kinabahan ako agad dahil halatang hindi maganda ang mood niya.
He was leaning over his car with his arms crossed and I tried roaming my eyes around looking for a Savannah to lighten up the mood but she’s not here.
He stood up from leaning over his car and opened the door for me. I watched how he starred at me.
“Get inside, Jaerin.” he said sternly. I bit my lower lip and felt nervous by hearing his firm voice.
I nodded once and entered the car. Umikot din agad siya at sumakay sa driver’s seat. He drove our way out of the campus and the silence were uncomforting.
“This isn’t the way to our house, oppa.” I forced myself to speak up out of curiousity.
“We’re stopping by at the hospital because Jinyoung will be discharged today so he can move to America.” he answered right away.
“What? Is that today? Why didn’t he told me?” I asked a bit surprised. Nakalimutan saglit ang tungkol sa pagkakaseryoso ng kapatid.
I go through my bag trying to find my phone but only grunted when I realized that I don’t have it. I left it with Nayeon! She borrowed my phone because she was lowbat and she needs to update his cousins.
Tahimik nalang ulit kl habang papasok si oppa sa parking lot. We went inside and saw Jinyoung with his parents. Andito rin ang mga kaibigan niya. I pouted as I gave him a tight embrace trying hard not to tear up.
“Don’t cry.” he warned like he already new I’ll cry any moment now.
The people around us laugh as they watch us. Napatawa rin tuloy ako habang naramdaman kong ginulo niya ang buhok ko.
“Come back, healthy.” I said with a teary eyed.
He smiled and nodded once, “Treat me once I come back.”
Tuloy tuloy ang tango ko. He smirked and hugged me again. He thanked my brother for taking me here and he just told him its nothing. We send them off and went back to our way home.
Nang malapit na kami samin, oppa looked over my side.
“I want you to tell Na Jaemin to stop courting you.” natigilan ako kasabay ng pag-park niya ng kanyang sasakyan. He went out even before I say a word.
Dali dali akong bumaba sa sasakyan niya, naluluha at naguguluhan. Did oppa really said that? He was already inside so I hurried myself in.
“Oppa!” I called him out. Inabutan ko siya na nasa may paanan ng hagdan namin.
A tear fell from my eyes.
“Bakit naman? Oppa, I don’t want to tell him that. Gusto ko na sagutin si Jaemin. I want him to be my boyfriend.” i firmly said.
He starred over my eyes with a firm expression. He put both of his hands inside his pocket as he clenched his jaw.
“Go to your room, Jaerin and stop crying.” at tinalikudan na niya ako para pumunta sa kitchen.
Saglit pa akong natigilan. Thoughts flooded my mind. Things aren’t favoring for me anymore. Anong magagawa ko?
Dahan dahan akong naglakad pataas sa kwarto ko para doon nalang umiyak. I should convince my brother later when he’s not mad anymore.
I opened my room and the lights in it only to be surprised about something. My mouth hang open as I roamed my eyes around not believing what’s in front of my eyes.
Theres a bouquet of roses at one of my cabinets and some paperbags of some famous brand.
