Ben paced the cell full of anxiety and worry. Something felt off, not just in Rey's demeanour but in the Mandalorian Minister running the interrogations on the pair. It should be Poe doing it, Ben thought, he is the general after all.

He could feel the worry churning into frustration, a darkness consuming him the longer Rey was not in his presence. And then he worried further for Lira hiding away in that cramped space. Being in this cage like an animal Ben felt cornered and angry unable to protect his family. The frustration consumed him, he needed to break free and find Rey so that they could find Hux and kill him.

Something felt wrong indeed. Ben assessed the cells searching for weaknesses. There were intricate insecurities within the framework of the holding cell. If Ben could apply enough pressure from the Force, yes that could work. He needed to find Rey that was all that mattered to him in this instant.

The ambiance around him changed then, it felt cumbersome but comforting. The bond, Ben realised, had activated. Even if they were mere meters away Ben could here Rey breathing heavily. Heavily? No that would mean she is either asleep or unconscious. Ben pivoted on his feet to the direction he felt her presence strongest. And there Rey was, levitating mid aid horizontally in the middle of his cell but she was barely conscious and sweat beaded her brow.

"Rey?" Ben whispered tenderly. A fatigued groan passed through Rey's rouge lips and her brows seemed to pinch - she could feel him near her! "What have they done to you?" His voice was solemn, grave even as he looked down on his wife, he couldn't tell where she was but he assumed some sort of medical facility on the base.

"Ben?" It was almost inaudible, barely a whisper but he heard pass through Rey's lips. Or was it her mind? He simply didn't know nor could he tell.

"I'm here." He told her sliding his lithe fingers through Rey's smaller more nimble ones. They were slightly clammy to the touch but Ben didn't care. "You're not alone!"

A ghost of a smile blinked across Rey's lips. Ben hoped he wasn't imagining it. Her silence weighed on him though. She appeared tired, whatever was afflicting her was draining her energy. Ben needed to get to her, he couldn't just be expected to sit idly in a cell while his wife lays on a medical bed. No he could not. "I will find you, Rey. I will get of this cell and find you." He promised.

Rey's countenance changed suddenly and her complexion grew green. Her eyes flew open and as Rey leaned over the other side of the bed, Ben watched her heave and purge her body of its contents as she was sick. "Ben!" Her mind's voice cried.

"I'm here." Ben reassured her again reaching to pull her unbound her out of the way.

"No. I don't want you to see this!" She wailed across the bond. Rey fell back against the bed once she was finished heaving. Tears had pricked and escaped the corners of her eyes producing a look of vulnerability about her that simply wasn't candid to Rey's personality in the slightest.

Ben smoothed back her fly away her from her glistening forehead. "In sickness and in health, remember."

A pained chuckle escaped Rey's throat and she closed her eyes sighing. She felt slightly better now and hoped she could be on her feet very soon. "Stubborn." She chastised Ben and this time it was his turn to chuckle. The sound was melifluous and deep, seductive like a croon to melt a woman's heart.

"As are you." Ben countered. He blinked and felt her presence leave him like the click of one's finger. The calm that had washed over him in those brief moments dissipated into frustration and rage, both at the Force for closing the bond and at himself for agreeing to bring her back to Pillio. Ben felt the darkness surge through him, the adrenaline singing in his veins. He was a ticking time bomb and he was ready to detonate! Ben let go of his feelings to the Force causing the cell and the surrounding vicinity to rattle with his power. The cell doors blasted open with the intensity of the repulse and the shear emotions poured into it. The unconsolidated rocks came loose from their footing on the rock walls and crumbled around him. The earth shuddered and Ben, for a moment, feared he would cause the whole of the Resistance base to concave and collapse.
