It was a quiet morning. The sunshine beamed at my classic windowsill. My mind cascaded like a blooming dawn as I watched the sunflowers get bitten by the cold breeze. Iced coffee on the wooden desk along with my pink journal, playing beneath the sunlight. My pen and hand were lying on the soft piece of paper.
Savior's sunflower garden made me forget about my nightmares. All I can think about was the warmth coming from the yellow petals. I decided to doodle them on my journal as a tribute.
I smiled when I was already done with my illustration. I drank my coffee and the coldness flowed like honey into my tongue. My eyes remained on the sunflowers. I sighed dreamily, drawn by its enchantment.
I wonder if it's okay to pick one sunflower? But I'm shy to ask Savior about it.
Just one and I won't bother his sunflower garden anymore! Just one itty bitty sunflower! I swear! I convinced myself in my head.
Still wearing my mustard yellow pajamas, I went outside and sneakily walked towards Savior's front yard. My eyes twinkled even more when I saw his sunflower garden up close! This is my definition of a celebrity!
I bit my lower lip, carefully picking one sunflower. My heart was beating so fast. This anticipation would make me go bananas!
But my heart stopped when the sound of a person clutching the doorknob filled my ears. My eyes widened. That must be Savior! And he's going to catch me stealing his sunflower! Oh my gosh!
I almost stumbled because I ran too fast! I quickly opened the front door of my house and rested my head against them when I'm already inside. My heart's still beating wildly out of nervousness. I also felt so exhausted since I'm not that physically active in the first place! The rush came to me intensely.
Because of the anxiety I'm feeling, I flinched dramatically when my doorbell rang! I calmed myself down before opening the door.
My forehead creased when I saw no one outside. I'm about to close the door but I stopped when I saw one sunflower on my doormat. My eyes widened out of surprise.
The beating of my heart doubled. My body was trembling when I picked up the sunflower. I stared at it as my shaky hand held its shining glory, still curious and astonished. My cheeks heated up when my imagination ran wild.
I gave Savior's house a glance before closing the door. Could it be...?
