The sound of hungry footsteps filled my ears. My heart raced so fast as I screamed for help! I could almost cry blood because of the fear that I was feeling. My body turned weaker but I couldn't do anything but succumb to the panic.
The killer was already close and they gave me a psychotic smile before chasing after me again!
I woke up from my sleep with a heavy heart. My body trembled as I reached for some water on the nightstand. My hand was shaky while drinking. Until now, my heart had been beating in a rapid state, I could almost suffocate!
My gosh, I don't want this to happen anymore! This is worse than death; to live in your nightmares and feel like it would never stop!
I buried my face on my knees and cried my heart out all morning. Thinking of that horrid dream could ruin my sanity. It's too vivid. Too scary. I just need someone to hold me and take me away from all of these. I don't want to be alone...
I decided to go outside and lied down on the grass to stop thinking about my nightmares. Feeling the sunlight, I closed my eyes and sighed heavily. My heart was still beating out of horror and I tried my best to forget.
I flinched when someone lied down next to me. When I opened my eyes, I saw Savior smiling like an angel! My eyes widened. My fatal heartbeats began to slow down, experiencing tranquility at the sight.
I felt happy in an instant because he's here. He took me away from my nightmares through his eyes.
"S-Savior!" I blurted out of surprise,
my cheeks heated up. "W-What are you doing?"He let out a deep chuckle.
"Trying to get close to you! Why? Did I make your heart race?" he joked around and smiled sheepishly.
My face heated up. I bit my lower lip and looked away, smiling.
"No... you made my heart calm," I whispered to myself, feeling shy to admit that to him. "Thank you, Savior."
