A morbid image of a fresh new blood dripping from a knife met my eyes. All of me collapsed and eaten by my fears; I was breathless as I saw the holes on my chest, the crimson stains were coming out from ny heart!
I couldn't escape because I am cuffed to my bed! My tears flowed down on its own, my soul screaming for mercy. Like an atomic bomb, my cries filled the entire place yet no one heard me, I'm all alone; diffused in the vile darkness.
Then, I heard a familiar sinister laugh. My eyes widened when I saw a dark figure looking down on me. There's a frightening smile etched on their lips as they licked the sharp knife, their tongue savoring the blood.
My screams became louder, pleading just to escape from here! The killer only mocked me with their horrid bone-chilling laughter.
But then, without a warning, his sharp knife aimed to hit my heart.
I cried scarlet tears that night.
I woke up, feeling the wild beating of my heart. I could almost faint because of the uneasiness I'm feeling! I looked around and saw no one inside my room, just the darkness, quietude, and fears were my company. My breathing was ragged. Tear stains coated my cheeks.
I covered my face and let out my cascading cries. The anxiety eating my system. Horror filled my psyche. My nightmares were getting worse and I didn't know how to control it! I didn't know how to make my mind quiet!
My feet move on its own and ran towards Savior's place. It's still 2 in the morning but I don't care, I'll turn insane if I'm alone with my thoughts again! I need some company! Some warmth. Some light. A tender embrace to remove the demons inside my head!
I knocked on Savior's door multiple times until he opened it. He looked sleepy but his eyes immediately widened when he saw me, bewildered and surprised.
"Oh! Suns—" He stopped talking when I hugged him.
"Save me from my nightmares..." I cried against his chest. "You're my only hope."
