Savior gave me light that was derived from the brightest star through his smiles. I looked away no matter how seraphic his smiles were. I couldn't look directly at him! And until now, my face was embarrassingly flushed!
"Good morning." His thick British accent filled my ears. His gentle voice sounded angelic and soft.
I breathed heavily and tried to calm myself down. Still feeling my wild heartbeats, I slowly glanced at him, but seeing his angelic face once again worsened my system! My cheeks heated up even more.
Even though I was shy around him, I tried my best not to be awkward! This is the least I could do!
"M-Morning. Nice accent."
I mentally face palmed. What even was that, Sunshine?
Savior's clement chuckle filled my ears and I felt my heart getting crazier. I still couldn't breathe properly when it should be the opposite, aided by a soothing tune, environment, and presence. His dimples showed up when he gave me a kind smile. However, my sense of serenity wasn't there to support me anymore.
"Lying on the grass in the morning? Adorable," he murmured. "Can also I lay here? I want to feel the sunlight, too."
My eyes widened at that and I didn't know what to reply. I quietly stared at his face while mine was sunkissed, but not because of the sun, it's simply because of him!
Savior lent his hand, still wearing his cute smile. "Savior."
I stared at his hand for a moment. Am I dreaming? I blinked my eyes a couple of times just to make sure that I'm not dreaming!
I don't want to admit that I already knew him because that would be creepy! "S-Sunshine..." I accepted his hand and it felt electric. His skin was warm and comforting, but at the same time, dangerous since my heart couldn't take the burn.
I'm the first one who broke our physical contact. I would burn even more if I let his hand rest on mine!
"Yeah... Sunshine." He smiled. "Do you like the sunflower I gave you? I saw that you're trying to pick one from my garden. Do you like it?"
Oh my gosh! So my imagination was true! But it's still surprising to hear it from him, I was too stunned to speak!
Since I stayed quiet, Savior began to look worried.
"Uh... don't you like it? Do you want a bouquet of sunflowers instead?" he asked softly.
I immediately denied and felt panicky. "N-No! No! You don't have to. I love it! Believe me! I'm just surprised... t-thank you so much..."
I tried to give him a reassuring smile but failed 'cause my lips were trembling! To calm myself down, I bit my lower lip and breathed heavily. Gosh, Sunshine! Stop making the atmosphere more painfully awkward!
"U-Uh... e-excuse me for a second. I need to go to the bathroom... or something..." I didn't wait for him to talk and walked towards my house, leaving him at my front yard. I couldn't understand the deranged movements of my heart as I took every step.
I shut my eyes and rested my head against the door when I'm already inside. Really, Sunshine? Going to the bathroom? My gosh!
