I stared at the sunflower on my desk all day. I made sure it's well taken care of so I bought a perfect vase for it. Until now, my cheeks were flushed! My fingers traced the yellow petals and it blessed me with a seraphic glow. My heart started to combust, gleaming in gold.
Warm tones and vivid colors; flowers were as artistic as paintings in fervor. I looked at the window and glanced at Savior's sunflower garden. The flowers looked up to the sun, feeling the golden rays. I smiled a bit. I was reminded that it's a perfect day to go outside and become free with the Earth.
With wilderness in my heart, I went outside and laid down on the dewy grass. I live in a quiet neighborhood and everything about it was a dream; vintage houses, a bounty of flowers blooming, apricot trees, and beautiful people. I closed my eyes and became one with nature.
My lips formed into a priceless smile, feeling giddy inside. At this moment, I knew life was the most beautiful gift that I've received. I got to admire and feel a lot of things and discover masterpieces; such as the celestial bodies, painted sceneries, and the essential mundaneness of life. By just merely existing, it felt like magic, and that's already enough.
My forehead creased when I couldn't feel the sunlight anymore. The warmth lessened and I was cradled by the shadows. I slowly opened my eyes to see what's going on.
My eyes widened in shock when I saw Savior looking down at me. There's a cute smile written on his face. His light brown eyes was created like a timeless meadow, flourishing in divinity. My heart skipped a beat as if I was visited by an angel.
Feeling embarrassed, I immediately got up from the grass.
I stared at him, wide-eyed. I still couldn't believe he's right here in front of me! He's still smiling, mellow and amused.
And I know that this life's a dream because he exists.
