Chapter 1⃣: I'M ADOPTED?!

Amber's POV

I screamed as loud as I possibly could as the man threw me over his shoulder.
"Someone!"I screamed towards the house."Holly! Crack his neck or something!"
They weren't coming. And we were moving closet and closer to the helicopter. That's when I saw Shane jump completely over the fence, followed by Adam and Flame. I almost sighed with relief.
Shane caught up with us and jumped onto the guy's back. It didn't weigh him down though. I screamed again. The guy threw Shane off. He went tumbling into the grass.
We were at the helicopter. There was no way I was going to be saved or save myself for that matter. I was suddenly thrown to the ground. The wind was knocked out of me, and my back ached like crazy. A woman stepped out of the helicopter and looked down at me.
"She's the one,"she said.
The woman looked exactly like me. Her semi-blonde curls twisted into a long ponytail. Except I would never wear the navy pencil dress that she wore. Her heels stepped on one of my fingers causing me to flinch.
The rest of the group came rushing towards us. Holly climbed onto the man and held a normal kitchen knife against his throat. The woman smiled widely as we circled her.
"Why, we have the correct number,"she smiled."I came to talk to you. Especially the people that survived the mansion."
Andrew wrapped his arms around me, knowing that I had a troubled past in there."You won't take them back in there,"he said coldly.
The woman laughed."There's only sixteen supposed to be in there. Except with the girls it was fifteen because that one girl...what was her name? Chantal, Channy. Something like that."
I gasped."That's DatAsianShipper!"
The woman smiled."Oh yeah. But please. We should sit down. I want to talk."

We sat down at the couches, the man and woman being watched over by Holly whose eyes were fixed on them. The woman looked over us.
"I am Admin, Amber's sister."
My eyes went bloodshot. I had a sister!
"And I'm here to take you away from this horrid place to an island where you will be safe."
"Last time we-"Jenny started to say, but I cut her off.
"Your my sister?!"I shrieked.
Admin smiled."Well, I was born into the family, you on the other hand were adopted. Now as I was saying-"
"I'm adopted?!"
"Yes. Now shut up. The place is like the mansion, though there is no death or magic or anything. But there will be competitions. Whoever looses those competitions gets transported to the other side of the island where you will be isolated until the game ends and there is only one person left on the other side. The winner has a more...relaxing stay until there's a new winner."
I squinted at her."Don't trust you."
"Then we'll just take you off again."
I held my arms up."'Kay. Give us a second to talk. Huddle."
Admin and the man left. I turned back to the survivors.
"What do you say?"I asked.
"Well, there are pros and cons,"Jason said.
"Pros are that we have room for everyone there,"Ty said."We probably won't run out of food and we don't have to worry about the people out there."
"Cons are that we'll be separated,"Jay quietly said."Usually it's better to see eachother and know what's going on. Without communication, we won't know what's happening."
"What's the reason we're going?"I called to Admin.
She stood at the door."Scientists want to study how the human race reacts to types of things like this. Especially when their friends/loved ones are taken away."
"Let me rephrase that,"Jordan sighed."More studies on the Plague."
Admin laughed."How did you know!"
"So is it a yes?"I asked.
Most answers were a whatever. Admin smiled.
"Okay,"she clapped."We can load into the helicopter and we'll take off!"
