Trevor's POV

I ran. It was the only logical thing I could do. Zig zagging across the path was my defense, and throwing light branches was my offense. I threw myself up onto a tree, climbing easily to the top. From here I could see the fence to the other side.

"Trev!"

I heard my name. My senses came into focus. Addie was running into the dense forest. I took a leap, swinging from branch to branch. Master of Stalking was my name, though I never bragged about it. And with stalking came great parkour skills. Screams of terror filled the air. My stomach twisted.

I caught up with Addie."What?"

"I'll tell you once we get to the fence. Let's make this race a contest!"

She sprinted ahead. Addie would probably never run out of energy. Her hair swayed side to side, the light reflecting off of it. I loved her style. I loved her smile. There was something inside of me that liked her.

Stop it Trevor. You don't have time. You have to get off this island. Next you find Heck and Gray and try to survive.

I tripped and faceplanted onto the ground. Addie laughed and pulled me up. We neared the fence. She squeezed my hand. I looked at her, but she was looking towards the fence.

"We find the copter, and we get out of here."

"Seems easy."

"Not when there's zombies over there and we're completely unarmed. We just gotta move fast. I'll stick to the ground, you stick to the rooftops."

I helped her over the fence. I dropped down. Silence filled the air. My stomach twisted. I leaped across the cabin rooftops, looking for the sign of a helicopter. I saw a flash of black and blue.

"Looking for the helicopter?"Jessica said, smiling."Vic and Tif took it."

"You're a demon!"Addie yelled.

"We're all demons on the inside,"she laughed.

Tiffany smiled wildly and ran back into the forest."There's a boat!"

((Oh my god. BOAT BOAT BOAT.))

"We gotta get to that boat,"I said, running back to the fence. Addie followed behind.

"This is just a goose chase,"Addie whispered.

"I don't care,"I growled. I hung my head. This was the way I acted to my little friends.

Addie sighed and ran for the water. I followed after her quietly. There wasn't a single person in my sight. They couldn't have left without us. Addie looked back and her eyes filled with terror.

"Trevor..."

I turned around, only to see a horde of zombies walking towards us. A girly scream escaped my mouth. I ran past her, afraid for my own life.

Then I saw the boat. I saw the others (not Addie but the others, the ones I couldn't find) running for the boat. Hatred filled my eyes. I sprinted past them. Addie hopped onto the boat. I jumped in after her. She started the ignition.

Amber ran into the water, but Seto held her back.

"Don't leave without us!"

"Trevor! Addie!"

"You can't!"

I saw the horde walking behind them. My hands trembled on the leather seats of the boat. The zombies all wanted to devour them. It neared them. 10 yards, 5 yards.

"Addie, go!"I yelled.

"Trevor, don't!"Shane yelled.

But it was too late. We were already gone. I didn't want to look back. Addie looked at me, her eyes filled with sadness.

"You left them."

There was a silence.

"Maybe it's just you that's a demon."

I didn't mind her comment. My face felt the sea breeze.

One thing stuck in my brain.

This series of unfortunate events wasn't over.
