Chapter 9⃣: Dot, dot, dot

Jay's POV

Of course it wasn't me that yelled it.
It was Flame. She jumped up and hugged the stranger. The person looked down at her like Flame was insane. Admin shrugged.
"She knows that chick?"Shane asked.
"I don't even know..."I whispered back.
The stranger pushed Flame away and crossed her arms."I don't primarily like to be hugged."
"Well, Team Erie is complete. Are there any questions?"Admin asked.
"Isn't she supposed to be dead?"Flame asked."I saw her die right before my eyes."
The stranger raised an eyebrow."Excuse me? I was never on a deathbed."
Amber stood up."We don't need any fighting-"
I jumped up."Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"
"Hey! Girls, men-"
"Their men and we're girls?"Enti asked.
Admin took a knife out of her pocket. Enti put her hands up.
"Sorry! Just asking!"
"Now go to bed!"

I ran to catch up with the stranger. She looked like Amber with her blue tee and white jean jacket. Besides the brown hair, they were identical.
"Hi! I'm Jay. Your sports master,"I said, smiling."Who are you?"
She looked ahead not acknowledging me."..."
"Hello? Anyone home?"I waved my hand in front of her face.
She grabbed it and pulled it away."Stop, brat."
"Oh,"I said, stopping for a moment,"I just wanted your name so I could say,'You look beautiful tonight, insert your name here', but if you want to be that way."

I walked ahead to meet Tiffany.
She looked at me."Why are you being so nice to her?"
I grinned."If there's one thing I learned about a competition, you keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."
She raise an eyebrow.

I sat down on the bed, rubbing my facial cream on. The rest of them were chatting, except for that girl that won't speak. She was facing away and staring out the window like a total freak.
"Hey, has anyone seen the cliff that's near the water on the far side of camp?"Jessica asked.
"Dang,"Holly said,"that would be awesome to jump off of."
"Well, depends on the height,"Amber remarked."I am scared of them after all."
"I remember hearing it was 1000 feet tall,"I smirked.
"1000!"Tiffany shrieked.
"It's not humanly possible,"the stranger said."A human can survive a fall from 100 feet. None more."
I roll my eyes."What about 101? Or 102? Shocker!"
She rolled her eyes."Just be quiet."
I turned over in the bunk and fell asleep.
