Chapter 4⃣: What the What?

Amber's POV

"What the freaking magikarp?"I said slowly.
I began moving towards the person that had face planted into the grass near us. It was Ian. Covered in dirt, water, and mud.
"What the heck did they do?"Jay asked.
"We better split up,"I said."Groups of two."
Enti grabbed my arm."Let's go,"she whispered.
"Search everywhere on the north side,"I called."Always stay with your partner. Yell as loud as you can to tell us that you found them."
We all nodded in agreement.
Enti raced past me. I smiled and followed.

"They got awfully close to the fence,"I remarked.
We were trudging through the forest. Sometimes the fence was visible from where I walked. Enti was in front of me. We were both covered in pine needles.
"Yeah..."Enti said, starting to get close to it.
I pulled the collar of her shirt."We can't go near there. That mocho-man of a woman will tear us to shreds."
"But she's not here!"
She pressed her face against the fence. It was like a prison though. Tall, ten-foot fence. The iron wires criss-crossed. Like a tall, school fence.
School, I thought and shuddered.
Suddenly, there was a noise from behind us. Enti grabbed me. I looked over through the forest and held a finger to my mouth.
"Stay silent,"I whispered.
I slowly started walking over. A blue hoodie was visible from where I stood. It must've been Shane. He looked up at me, and his eyes went bloodshot.
And then Shane turned around and ran.
"Shane!"I yelled, starting to run."Come back!"
He looked at me with concern. Enti raced past me. She was the sporty one after all. Speaking of sports, I wondered, is there a pool here
Enti ran into a clearing blocked by trees. She stopped. The men were there gathered around a tree. I slowly walked up.
"What's going-"I started to say, but I realized the matter.
The reason they were crowded on the ground. The reason Shane was in the forest. The reason they'd ran.
"Sweet Celestia!"I cried, grabbing my head."What happened to Seto?!"
