Haunters... What Could Go Wrong?

Ash's POV

The four purple ghost type try to find the best way to pick up our Pokémon. Their detached hands wrapped around each Pokémon's waist or midsection. "This is going to be weird," Lillie says as the Haunters take to the air.

"I hope Acerola realized that the Haunters will get hit too," I comment.

"Shadow ball!" Acerola yells.

"I forgot the battle already began," I laugh as the shadow ball heads toward Snivy.

"Hit it back with vine whip," I order.

"String shot on Mimikyu's Haunter!" Lillie yells.

"Block it with yours!" Sophocles yells as Snivy bats away the shadow ball.

Mimikyu's Haunter dodges the return of the attack while the two string shot connected in midair. "Send a strugglebug along the web," Lillie orders.

"Charjabug use discharge!"

"Mimikyu use dark pulse on Snivy."

"Dodge," I order but Haunter didn't move. "The attack will hit you too Haunter!" I yell.

His eyes widened and he flew up just in time. "Phew," I mutter but Lillie couldn't do the same.

The discharge overruled the big type attack and shocked Leavanny and Haunter to the ground. Thankfully the web snapped in the process. "Haunter can you please fly lower?" I ask.

I must've gotten his trust because e listened and flew directly under the cruising Haunter that was holding Charjabug. "You get Mimikyu," I say and Lillie nods in agreement.

"Leavanny use electroweb on Mimikyu!"

"Take it," Acerola smirks.

"The disguise ability will take the damage but it's still a web," Lillie laughs.

I watch Mimikyu and Haunter go crashing down to where Leavanny was moments ago.

"Leaf tornado!"

Snivy improvised and uses her vines to whip up the leaf filled tornado. Charjabug got swallowed in because his Haunter decided to cut his losses and fly away. The ghost and poison type is now laughing as the helpless bug swirls around. "Acerola this is your fault!" Sophocles yells at his partner.

"I'm busy," She replies as Mimikyu and Haunter we're struggling under the web.

"Go in with leaf blade!" Lillie yells except Haunter had other ideas. He flew the other direction and started showing off his flying skills. "Come on Haunter!"

"He is pretty good though," I chuckle but Lillie glared at me. "Finish Charjabug with a slam!"

Snivy and Haunter exchanges some words and both smirked. "Look he's doing it to you too," Lillie teases while still trying to get the attention of her Haunter.

"I believe in mine," I say as Haunter starts to do a loop. "Told you."

You could see the energy coming off of Snivy because of the speed. The dazed Charjabug had no chance due to its inability to move. Dust clouded the area because of the collision but it was no surprise to see the battery like Pokémon fainted. And of course his Haunter was laughing a safe distance away.

"Good job guys!" I give them a thumbs up. Haunter laughed and gave me one in return. "Need help now?"

"Shut up," Lillie growls as the web disappeared and Mimikyu was free to move again with Haunter.
