Greninja's POV

"Greninja," Fini muttered as her beautiful eyes fluttered open.

"You good?" I ask. She nodded slowly and flew back up into the air.

"What have we done?" She sighs and starts tearing up. I grab one of her arms and bring her into a comforting hug.

"It's fine," I assure her while the other part of my mind wants to go fight.

"No it isn't," She sobs. "I let us four get mind controlled and now we are going to end up letting some nitwit take over Alola."

"Then how about you help us save the region?" I suggest while smiling at her.

"I hate you," She laughs and we jump back into the battle action. Ash and Lillie were trying to command their eleven other Pokémon against the Tapus. But I don't see Blobby or Meloetta battling. Meloetta is probably hiding just in case but I assumed the Zygarde core would be here.

The smirking Shamouti girl was lounging on the side of the temple while her hands rested on a stone music note that was controlling the other three Tapus. "Let's go beat Ta—" I start but I notice a solar beam was heading towards Fini.

I charge the dark type attack night slash and I jump protectively in front of her. I split the beam in two so it goes around us. The grass type attack was coming from the controlled Tapu Bulu. The solar beam died down and I fall over tiredly. I forgot legendary attacks can't easily be deflected.

"Are you okay?" I ask as we dodge multiple attacks from Bulu.

"Yeah thanks," She squeaks cutely while blushing madly. Looks like she has a soft side. "Why aren't you doing that weird transformation thing?"

"Because if I get defeated, Ash could possibly faint," I explain. "And that is not what we need to happen right now."

Tapu Fini's POV

I can't believe Greninja cares more about Ash then power. Shows how good Ash's bond is with his Pokémon. "Wow," I mutter.

"What?" He asked confused before Tapu Bulu used his large red horn to attack the frog Pokémon. The mega horn attack left Greninja laid down in the dirt/sand soil. I couldn't move as one of my fellow guardians was a silhouette in the sun and charging another solar beam.

The bipedal Pokemon was struck by another powerful attack from the legendary Pokémon. I started screaming to get Ash's attention and he came rushing over. He sighed and returned one of his strongest Pokémon.

"Ash we are starting to run out of Pokémon," Lillie warns as she commands Pikachu and a few others against Tapu Koko. I stare at Ash and he looked back at me. His eyes went wide open, he must not know I was freed from Melody's control. I look closer at him and realize he is looking right above me.

I slowly start to look up and the Ula'Ula island guardian was right above me with a mega horn charged. He starts to come down and then I get an unfamiliar sensation pulsing through my body.

My vision starts to fade... I thought I could handle the attack but maybe I couldn't...

Silver's POV

"How many Pokémon did you get?" I ask as we run through the hotel lobby. It's turquoise glass shining from the rising sun.

"Six," Gladion answers as we take off on our Pokémon. "I just hope it will be enough."

"As long as Team Skull's boat makes it there at the same time as us we will be fine," I state.

"But what if they don't and we can't wait," Gladion sighs.
